About this deal

Please refer to What to Wear guide to ensure you dress your baby in the correct clothing under our Swaddlebags. Our All-Season sleepbag has been designed for arms out sleeping and should not be used as a swaddle. The poppers on the armholes (0-6m only) allow for fit adjustment for smaller babies to ensure a perfect fit, to keep baby safe and comfortable. Our sleepbags are slim fitting through the chest to enable full freedom of movement without restriction or excess bulk with a roomy, hip-healthy bottom. As we said, every baby is different and some may prefer to stretch out after only a few days or weeks, while others will enjoy the cosy feeling for longer. Experiment and see what works for your little one. When testing swaddles we consider a number of factors including ease of use, material, comfort and value for money. If you're new to the concept, imagine a burrito with a baby poking out! ‘Baby swaddling is when you wrap your baby up tight in a light muslin or cotton sheet, so they feel snug and safe,’ says Nicole Ratcliffe, Family Sleep Coach at The Baby Show.

Therefore, we teamed up with sleep scientists and a qualified paediatrician at Northumbria University, to develop a dual-tog All-Season Grobag™. Suitable for use in temperatures ranging from 14-27+°C, featuring removable insulation it can be easily adjusted from a 2.5 tog to a 1.0 tog sleep bag. If parents need to adjust baby’s temperature while they are sleeping, they can safely add or remove warmth using the outer zip ‘n’ pop layers with minimal disturbance to baby. With breathable mesh, positioned in high-heat areas, it enhances baby’s ability to efficiently release excess heat, which supports their natural temperature regulation and ultimately helps to keep them comfortable for a good night's sleep.

Tested by mum Liz for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Avoid co-sleeping: 'Never swaddle your baby when bed-sharing as they could overheat,' Ratcliffe warns.

Made from soft 100% cotton-rich, fluorescent-free fabric, our Swaddlebags are snuggly and kind on baby’s skin – perfect for a comfortable night’s sleep. Some parents swear by the soothing powers of a tightly fitted muslin during the early days. 'That deep pressure from the swaddle can make them feel safer as it replicates that tight feeling they get in the womb, so it helps with that transition from womb to world,' adds Ratcliffe.

Tested by mum Jo Eden-Sangwell for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Once your baby is happy with under-arm swaddling and wants to move around a little more, this is an ideal time to start using a Grobag Baby Sleep Bag. You can start using a Grobag Baby Sleep Bag when your baby weighs 4kg (8.8lbs). The product is different to anything else on the market, as it combines a swaddle and a Grobag in one which is previously unavailable. This is useful for those (like me) that can't get the hang of swaddling using either special swaddle blankets, or regular blankets. This also takes the worry out of having to use blankets when my baby is too small to go in a regular Grobag. No. Your Groswaddle is designed to be used instead of blankets and sheets. The only other bedding you need for your baby is a bottom sheet. Never use a Groswaddle with a quilt, comforter or blankets.
