The path will lead you past Waverley Cemetery, where it can get a little windy. This part of the walk takes place on a suspended walkway, so be careful during this section of the journey. You’ll then pass Clovelly Bowls Club and head towards Gordons Bay. Gordons Bay is a secluded bay that is the perfect stop off for a picnic or just a breather. We offer easy access to all of Sydney's main attractions. I recommend taking the short bus ride to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, or over to Bondi Beach. In spring time, Sculptures by the Sea, the world’s largest annual sculpture exhibition, illuminates the Bondi to Tamarama section of the coastal walk. Traveling by Couchsurfing, as always, is amazing if you’re on tight travel budget in Sydney. There are many awesome hosts in town! An added bonus: your local couchsurfing host will likely show you around town and give you insider tips. The garden overlooks Sydney Harbour and is the perfect place to snap a pic of the beautiful bay. The garden has been taken care of by Wendy and two gardeners over the past 25 years. They’ve planted many gorgeous plants and created intricate pathways that run through the grounds. This makes it the perfect garden to explore before settling down for a picnic. When you arrive make sure to head to the gondolas for a scenic ride to the top of the ridge, where the entrance to the zoo is. The views are spectacular! Zoe is your lightweight option when you need an amazing travel bag with all the organisation a Mia Tui bag brings, but you don't need to take the kitchen sink.
This hostel is EPIC- my personal favourite in all of Sydney. With a 9.2 rating on Hostelworld at the time of writing this article, do I need to say much more? The whole ferry ride has great views, and once you arrive at Manly Beach there are plenty of options to eat and drink. Take the short walk over to Shelly beach and take a dip in the ocean pool, or look at doing the longer Manly to Spit Bridge walk.You could also spend a few days in the northern beaches enjoying the nightlife, walking the coastal walks, and swimming or surfing. The northern beaches is a beautiful, non touristy area of the city. If you feel like you want to immerse yourself deeper into the Australian culture and lifestyle, we suggest to opt for a tour with one of Sydney’s knowledgeable local tour guides.

Why you’ll love this hostel: Please do your research on visa requirements for citizens with your passport, as Australia is notoriously hard to get a visa for, depending on where you’re from.
