In the unlikely event that there is a sequel, the movie will likely focus on Terry and his ongoing relationship with the sea creature. It might even focus on another interspecies love affair between another human and a man-fish. The two couples might even go on a double date! It might look daft, it might even be daft, but Manfish is also one of the sweetest, most warm-hearted films about a humanoid from the deep you’ll ever see. He becomes depressed without his fishy friend but after a little while, he resolves to find out where his aquatic lover has gone to. He threatens Tracey with the police if she doesn’t reveal the creature’s location. She eventually gives in to his demand and tells him the man-fish is at the pub.
