Please note: Prices quoted for Horsebox Rescue are for policies where the Horsebox is being usedfor pleasure and are under 26 tonnes (vehicles must not be articulated). However, Third Party, Fire & Theft insurance only covers damages to your Horsebox caused by attempted theft or Fire and the insurer will NOT cover claims for damage caused by yourself in an accident and your own damage / repairs will not be covered. Third Party, Fire & Theft insurance only covers you for damage you cause on the road to ‘third parties’ (other people) and only the third parties’ vehicle would be covered for damages caused by you in an accident. Damages to your Horsebox would not be covered and you would need to pay for these repairs yourself. If you want insurance that covers damages caused by you to your own Horsebox or damages caused by a third party, you should consider purchasing Comprehensive cover instead and one of our agents will be happy to provide a quotation for both levels of cover enabling you to make an informed decision. However, please note, these prices are on a 24 hour call out fee so maybe slightly more expensive than you travelling to a depot and having a tyre fitted yourself. In this case it is always preferable to carry a spare.

Not many of us have a UK wide network of licensed and accredited lorry mechanics and recovery experts. Very few people have a phone book full of specialist registered horse transporters when they need one. If your vehicle breaks down at home or within one mile of your home we will arrange help to start the vehicle (up to 1 hours labour) If it cannot be started it will be recovered to the nearest available repairer. Home is the place your vehicle is normally kept. Emergency Travel or Accommodation You have a choice of 20 Machine Washable fabrics. They are all 100% Polyester so are extremely hard wearing and don’t ‘ladder’ like old nylon covers did years ago! Our Trailer Assist membershipdoesnotcover your towing vehicle (car) in the event of a breakdown. You will need a separate breakdown membership with another company to fix or recover your car. We will recover your trailer and horses if your car cannot be fixed by the roadside, but not your car. Honestly, it's a no-brainer. You really do need Equine Rescue Services breakdown membership so please read on or buy a suitable membership for your lorry.
