In fact, we had quoted the verdict of Hafiz al-Dhahabi and Hafiz ibn Hajar regarding the status of that Hadith. We have also mentioned the possibility of other Muhadditheen having not classified it as such. The writing of the book Fazail Amaal took a span of 35 years. It started in 1930 and was completed in 1965. The reason for this lengthy duration is that the book was never entirely planned out by Maulana Zakariyya (RA). Each section was written at different times on the dying wish and requests from many legendary personalities. It was thus written with full Ikhlas, never to seek fame or name.

Received the answer of FATWA no–15917 JazaKhair.My question was particular to Fazail Aamal in which others who do not follow claim that in Fazail Amaal there are weak hadiths mention so we do not follow those hadiths my answer to them was instead of worrying about the isnad one should follow the matn of the hadith did i give the proper answer for their refusal i wanted to know from you.and i was trying to convince them there is so much hikamt and wisdom behind those hadith if one really make use of them ..Pls clarify

It being part of the unseen, therefore, does not negate the possibility of its manifestation by Allah upon anyone of His chosen servants, as is the case in the above mentioned examples. The incident of Sayyiduna ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) is quite well-known – when once while he was in Madinah and his army was in battle in a land far away, Allah made it possible for him to see his army’s position in the battlefields and he was able to command them from his minbar in Madinah to change their position. (See Dala’il al-Nubuwwah of Abu Nu‘aym and Hayat al-Sahabah 3/808) The book trails the life and struggles of Maulana Zakariyya from the start of his Da’wa journey, his companionship with Maulana Ilyas, his struggles during the 1947 India-Pakistan conflict, how his actions saved Muslims in India, etc. The book has been a beacon of light and guidance for many people worldwide. Finally, we should bear in mind that the pious and learned amongst the Ummah cannot be unanimous upon something that is false or not part of Islam. The Prophet of Allah has said:

We definitely agree with the literal translation of the title of that book, but the object of the author was not to mention fabricated hadiths only. In fact, he mentions hadiths that some ‘ulama claim to be fabricated and then challenges that ruling. In some instances, he concedes to the verdict of those ‘ulama and in others he differs and proves the authenticity of these hadiths. The proverb is famous, “Don’t judge a book by its cover!”
