The Electriq 10l dehumidifier is a solid model, but, unlike the 20L version, we can't recommend it over alternatives such as the Meaco Small Home Dehumidifier. It's easy to use and relatively cheap, but struggles to remove enough water from the air compared to its closest competitors.

With a 10 litre capacity, the Electriq CD10L is clearly designed for smaller homes than the excellent CD20LE. Unfortunately, we don't think it matches the performance of its bigger sibling. This is why they tend to be most effective at room temperature and above, but gradually become worse as the temperature drops. Another issue with the app is that you cannot use your custom settings on a schedule. Only the five presets that come with it. It's not perfect though. The CD20LE is one of the bulkiest dehumidifiers on the market, weighing a hefty 13.8kg and with a width of 42.5cm. The built-in carry handle and castors make it easier to move around the home, but it's certainly not a portable dehumidifier. It's also not as effective in cooler conditions, so for garages or unheated rooms we recommend a desiccant dehumidifier.Let's start with the basics though.
