This story has shifters, vampires, fae and other supernatural creatures. They live among us and are inconspicuous. You would never know when you were talking to one.

And it came to pass that the Lamanites became frightened, because of the great destruction among them, even until they began to flee towards the river Sidon.Equally, Quinn's narrator I found a little too shrill at times but overall I found her different interpretations of the 'scream for us' text interesting, and enjoyed the different inflections. It was a fascinating reading, that kept me busy for straight 5 hour ! If you are in for something supernatural and captivating, this one could be the right book for you! In this, perhaps more than his other books and essays, Grant moves between big ideas in history – the Enlightenment, modernity and democracy – to consider himself, his identity, and his own lived experience of injustice, where race is an undeniable organising feature. And he caused that all the people in that quarter of the land should gather themselves together to battle against the Lamanites, to defend their lands and their country, their rights and their liberties; therefore they were prepared against the time of the coming of the Lamanites. Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.

Imagine everyone's surprise when the recruiter shows up the next day and announces that he is there for Raven and not Greg. Poor, poor Greg is mortified as he was so looking forward to attending the elite academy.
