About this deal

I always liked him as a player, one of my favourite players in England because he was like a leader on and off the park, always gave 110% for the jersey and I think he was the perfect captain for the team, in the dressing room. He’s got that winner’s mentality - there was such a big gap between Celtic and Rangers and since he took over you saw that closing.

Granted, it is not an easy film to watch. Its not a comedy and its not a road movie though it is zany and it does take place on the road. In fact it is in a category all its own, and for anyone who understands Colin Firth's line "Family just crushes your heart, doesn't it?", it is a deeply moving observation of what it means to be human. I won't say I came away from the movie feeling good, but I did come away feeling less alone. Now, nearly every idea could make a great film, depending on the way a director, writer, actor, and cinematographer choose to handle the material. I have no doubt that Arthur Newman could've been a terrific film if taken with a fresher, more intriguing direction. The one present here gives every interesting event a "been-there-done-that" quality. Consider the scene when Arthur attempts to save the life of Michaela. This scene should be gripping and terrifying, but it winds up falling completely flat thanks to the flat direction taken by Dante Ariola. For us the disappointment of losing took a long time to get over. But we knew the best side on the day won!”

The Dutchman was at Hampden last Sunday to see his old side miss out on the Viaplay Cup. The Scottish Cup is now Gers’ only realistic hope of silverware this season but Numan is refusing to consider the possibility that the Light Blues might fail again. He said: “We need to keep going in the Premiership and make sure we retain the Scottish Cup. More than 500 Port Vale players have appeared in between 1 and 24 senior competitive matches. In the early days, the scarcity of nationally organised competitive football meant players could spend many years with the club while making few such outings. However, to redress this the list includes appearances in minor cup competitions, such as the Staffordshire Senior Cup, prior to World War II. Exhibition games (friendlies) were the primary source of matches in the early days of the game and so appearances in friendly games during 19th century are also included. This allows club founder Enoch Hood's brothers John and Harry to appear on the list for their friendly appearances in 1879 and 1882.

With 731 matches for Flamengo, Zico is the player with the 2nd most appearances for the club. His 508 goals make him the club's top scorer ever. [27]Zico – 50 years" (in Portuguese). Archived from the original on 15 January 2006 . Retrieved 3 July 2006. It was special. I still have both jerseys from both players. Ronaldo was a young, promising player. He came to Holland and you could see the potential, a really good striker.

Currently, he works as a scout for Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar on a part-time basis. [3] Honours [ edit ] Jogos do C.R. Flamengo em 1989". Archived from the original on 22 May 2011 . Retrieved 20 July 2009. (See match 62: C.R. Flamengo 5×0 Fluminense (RJ))

Also, when I first became player/manager, I still used to change in the dressing room with the players, but players always like to talk about the manager and they didn’t like to do this in front of me so I started changing in the referee’s room. I said to fellow supporters at half-time that I wanted to see Michael Beale make at least one change, maybe two,” he added. Nicolas Raskin should have started the game but the manager had his reasons for leaving him on the bench.

When I was coming to the end of my contract at Rangers in 2003 and knew I wouldn't be signing another one, I didn't down tools and go through the motions. Having to sit out of the semi against Brazil because of his suspension, Numan admits he was more nervous than had he been out on the pitch. Twenty-two years on, he still thinks Holland could and should have won the tournament. Numan was included in the squad for the 1994 World Cup in the United States, although he was never included in the starting line-up for any of the matches. His World Cup debut came against Ireland as a substitute in the 75th minute. He was also selected for Euro 1996, yet also failed to start a match at the tournament.
