About this deal

There’s also a difference in software. With special professional graphics drivers, Nvidia RTX GPUs are certified for a range of pro applications and are tested by independent software vendors (ISVs) and the major workstation manufacturers.

The RTX A4500 takes the place of the RTX A4000, with 46 SMs — four more SMs than the latter. In addition, Nvidia has doubled the memory on the RTX A4500 from 8GB to 16GB. The RTX A4500 also shows higher memory bandwidth with a rating up to 512 GBps, 33% higher than the RTX A4000. That again indicates the use of 16Gbps GDDR6. If we head east on Abington Street we soon reach a roundabout with All Nations Church in the middle, which is where the A5123 and A4500 finally separate. We continue east along Wellingborough Road, which is briefly D2 until we reach the A4501 at traffic lights. The road then bends gently round to the left to the suburb of Abington. On reaching the park we are forced to turn left at traffic lights to reach a roundabout where we meet the A5095 and A5101 and turn right, still alongside the park to begin with. The A4500 continues ahead. It's still dual to the next roundabout which serves a retail park but then the road narrows and soon becomes residential. There's a complicated signalised junction with an unclassified road from Duston, then we continue east along Weedon Road and meet the two branches of the A428 at consecutive sets of traffic lights. That road now serves the north of the town centre whilst we head for the south. After going over the railway line by the station we bear right onto St Peter's Way, the town centre relief road (the original line of the A45 was ahead onto the now-unclassified Marefair). All tests were carried out using the Intel Core i9-12900K-based Scan 3XS GWP-ME A124C workstation at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution using the latest 511.09 Nvidia driver. Terms Apply. After passing through Weston Favell we cross the A43 at a GSJ which has no southbound offslip. There's then a retail park and a brief semi-rural section leading to the eastern suburbs. The A5076 is crossed at a roundabout and soon after this we finally re-enter open country. There wasn’t a huge performance difference between the RTX A4500 and A5000 in our real time 3D tests. With our automotive test model in Autodesk VRED Professional, for example, the A5000 was between 1.75% and 3.10% faster than the A4500, depending on the level of anti-aliasing applied.

Different applications support these cores in different ways. Most CAD and BIM applications, for example, simply use the CUDA cores for rasterisation, to turn vector data into pixels (a raster image).

The Nvidia RTX A4500 is a cut down version of the RTX A5000. Its launch appears to have been driven largely by the silicon and components that Nvidia had at its disposal. In fact, this week at Nvidia’s GTC event, the company launched another new GPU, the Nvidia RTX A5500, a cut down version of the RTX A6000. It’s a very interesting time for professional workstation GPUs, and GPUs in general. While you might have your eye on a specific model in terms of features and price/performance, what you end up buying might be dictated more by what’s available in the channel. UK workstation manufacturer Scan, for example, currently has a ‘significant quantity’ of RTX A4500s available for workstation builds, while the RTX A5000 remains in short supply. The RTX A1000 and RTX A500 are newcomers to the RTX family. Both models sport 16 SMs or 2,048 CUDA cores and 4GB of GDDR6 memory. The differentiator is the memory bandwidth. The RTX A1000 is good for 224 GBps, whereas the RTX A500 is limited to 112 GBps. It would appear that the A500 is limited to a 64-bit interface with 14Gbps GDDR6, while the A1000 gets the full 128-bit interface that the GA107 GPU offers. Nvidia told DEVELOP3D that the A5500 not only gives customers a bit of a performance boost over the A5000, but improves the ‘overall availability of supply’. The company admits that it would have been limited if it was only producing the RTX A5000 all year long. What is the RTX A4500? On the other hand, an increasing number of visualisation tools can use all three types of cores. Real time arch viz software Enscape, for example, can use CUDA for rasterisation, RT cores to accelerate ray tracing calculations and Tensor cores for Nvidia Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). Enhance your desktop workspace experience with NVIDIA RTX Desktop Manager, formerly NVIDIA Quadro View, and NVIDIA Mosaic technology. Work across four displays on every NVIDIA RTX professional card with intuitive placement of windows and user profiles.

Experience fast, interactive performance—powered by the latest NVIDIA Ampere architecture-based GPU—with ultra-fast graphics memory technology and optimized software drivers for professional applications. If you need a HDMI port, there is a DisplayPort to HDMI port connector in the box. PNY NVIDIA RTX A4500 HDMI DongleWith a dual-slot PCIe form factor, the RTX A4500 looks identical to the RTX A5000 and it is much closer in specs than it is to the single-slot RTX A4000. On the desktop side, Nvidia revealed the RTX A5500, which slots in between the RTX A5000 and RTX A6000. It would appear that the RTX A5500 will replace the existing RTX A5000. The new model comes with 80 streaming multiprocessors (SMs), 16 more than the RTX A5000 and only four less than the RTX A6000. In addition, the CUDA core bump allows the RTX A5500 to deliver up to 34.1 TFLOPs of FP32 performance, 23% higher than the RTX A5000.
