About this deal

An electrical wall box should be pre-installed with an Ethernet cable running from the box to a UniFi Switch with PoE. Side Panel

The Cloud Keys are different. They are not gateways or routers, they only run UniFi OS applications. I’m including them to make comparing which models run which UniFi OS applications easier. Cloud Keys require the use of the USG, USG-Pro, UXG-Lite, UXG-Pro, or some 3rd party router or firewall. The Ubiquiti UAP-AC-IW isa dual-band 802.11AC WiFi Access Point powered from an Ethernet wall connection. It features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which delivers PoE to power and connect an 802.3af device to the network. PoE+ input is required to use PoE passthrough. Connect this port to a UniFi Switch with PoE that is connected to your LAN and DHCP server.

Ethernet port supports data and PoE passthrough (requires 802.3at PoE+ input). The maximum PoE passthrough output is 12W.These three 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports support data only. Used to connect client devices to the LAN.
