As with the majority of models in our test, trying to figure out how to clip the feeding basket in place took up a little time, but once we had managed to align the top and fix it together, juicing was a simple process. At 71dB it’s one of the quietest models in our test, although the noise levels did raise when it had to deal with harder foods such as apples, pears and carrots.

In testing, it produced a glass of juice in around 15 seconds, a good yield that was only slightly less than more expensive machines. With a bulky 7.1kg body, the Kuvings may not look as stylish as other designs in our test, but we’d be more than happy to pay the extra for a machine that will take on such a vast range of fruit and vegetables.
