About this deal

Light to medium toned folks with normal to oily types looking for a super affordable base that feels like a tinted moisturizer but with the coverage of a light foundation. Dark skin tones can see if #31 is a match, otherwise it’s a pass.

Lasting Power: Usually lasts around 4-5 hours like most base products for me, but could be more if powder is used. It fades and sinks into the skin instead of separating and looking patchy. Make sure to always prep your skin well with skincare. Moisturize it enough so makeup doesn’t cling, but don’t add things that may be oily to keep the bb cream from caking.Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers, Niacinamide, Zinc Oxide, Mica, Sodium Chloride, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Disteardimonium Hectorite, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Zinc Stearate, I have been looking for a BB cream to add to my favorite list for a long time. And I haven’t been able to find anything that works great on my skin. My favorite has always been Missha perfect cover BB cream and Missha Signature real complete BB cream. Even though I really like those I am still looking for a product with little or preferably no scent. That is why I started looking at this one from Purito. Water, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Lauryl Polyglyceryl-3 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone,

Shades do not darken / oxidize as times passes. Shades #21 and #23 of both brands suit cool undertones better. Dry skin folks should definitely apply a primer, I find this can help improve wear time and avoid cakiness.

Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Aluminum Hydroxide, Allantoin , Panthenol, Glycerin, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Adenosine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Most of the shades cater to light-medium skin tones, with the light shades leaning warm-neutral and the medium shades leaning cool. The undertones are very obvious, which can be problematic when the shade is right but the tone is off. The first main difference is that while TiO2 gives a nice broad spectrum protection, Zinc Oxide has an even nicerand even broader spectrum protection. It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I almost uniformly, and is considered to be the broadestrange sunscreen available today.

is way too cool, almost grayish, and looks terrible on my warm skin. If you lean warm you should avoid this shade The main concernwith nanoparticles is that they are so tiny that they are absorbedinto the skin more than we want them (ideally sunscreen should remain on the surface of the skin). Once absorbed they might form unwanted complexes with proteins and they might promote the formation of evil free radicals. But do not panic, these are concerns under investigation. A 2009 review article about the safety of nanoparticles summarizes this, "to date, in-vivo and in-vitro studies have not demonstrated percutaneous penetration of nanosized particles in titanium dioxide and zinc oxide sunscreens". The English translation is, so far it looks like sunscreenswith nanoparticlesdo stay on the surface of the skin where they should be.

Brand

Regarding scent, Purito is fragrance-free, whereas the Missha BB Cream has a scent. Now, I personally really like the scent of the M Perfect Cover, but I know there are people that actually don’t like it. So it will come down to personal preference. For those that don’t prefer scents at all, Purito will be the obvious choice. Based on my own swatches, the official photos are actually pretty accurate, which means #23 will have a similar gray cast to #21. #27 is a medium warm shade, while #31 is a significantly darker brown. Overall, I’m very happy with this BB Cream. I like the finish and the level of coverage the Purito has. Although it has issues with transfer-resistance and longevity, I see myself using this BB Cream often in the colder months when my skin is feeling more dry. A truly stand-out brand when it comes to creating sustainable goods, Purito is lightyears ahead of so many of its Korean Beauty brand competitors. When applied, the finish of Purito is a little glowy. It’s not at dewy level though. Even though I have oily, acne skin, I don’t like really matte, full-coverage foundations. I was very surprised at how much coverage this actually has. As you can see, it covered a majority of the discoloration and PIH/PIE. It also blurred a lot of the texture and pores as well. It didn’t emphasize any of my dry patches, which my ELDW tends to do now that I’ve been using tret.
