We’ve seen brighter and more colorful displays on other brands, most noticeably from Fujitsu, but the screen on this PC will be acceptable for most users. In some respects, unfortunately, the display has actually worsened compared to its predecessor: Color deviations are significantly worse. Equally, the panel’s reaction time is abysmal. Adding to that, the color range has decreased as well. 54.4% sRGB and 34.5% AdobeRGB are not good results, designating the Latitude to the last place. Our only dislike with the keyboard is how small Dell decided to make the cursor keys, which are tiny considering how often a typical user will need them. At the center of the keyboard is a ‘nipple’ for those who loved their ThinkPad once (or maybe still do), though the touchpad is a much better option for controlling the cursor for most users.
The specification of this machine swings rather wildly from making perfect sense to almost none at all.Intel Core i7-8650U 8th Gen (decent for heavier tasks, besides enabling effortless daily computing) Windows 10 Home is aimed at the regular home and office computer users. Only select business users need the Professional edition. Windows 10 Home users are eligible for a free upgrade to the latest Windows 11 Home.

With the system open and using a plastic scribe, pry the keyboard lattice up from the edge closest to the LCD. [1] Lift it up and away from the keyboard [2]. According to our colorimeter, the Latitude's display reproduces 65 percent of the sRGB spectrum, which is far below the 107-percent premium-laptop category average and also beneath the Lenovo ThinkPad T470's 73 percent. is a small RAM size for computing in 2023. For smooth operation of a laptop during everyday tasks, at least 8GB is recommended. Laptops usually feature a frontal webcam located on the display bezel. This laptop is no exception.
