In contrast, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a small molecule ingredient, and is capable of penetrating the skin, which can increase the occurrence of skin irritation. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, is NOT used in any Jason products. There are NO nasty ingredients in any JASÖN® product, each label shows a full list of ingredients and also shows what ingredients a product does not contain. Excellent! This has a great, creamy feel that rubbed in easily and did not leave a white sheen. We used it for a visit to Costa Rica and didn't burn a bit (although it was cloudy). It has a fairly strong tropical scent which was noticeable even to friends when they stood close, but it is not an unpleasant scent. I love that my kids can easily apply it and I'm not exposing them to all the nasty stuff in commercial sunscreens. I'll be purchasing this again!
It is recommended to apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. In children under 6 months, consult a doctor. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly wear a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sunscreen measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am to 2 pm.
