I remember the golden wonder crisps being the 'wrong' colour... Its the first thing that came to mind when i read the OP. I was born in 1980 so not really sure how i could have such a strong memory of it if they really did change mid-eighies? Maybe im just getting old. This is getting even weirder, so Golden Wonder claim Walkers changed, but Walkers deny ever doing so........also, if it was infact the mid 80s that they changed, I would have no memory of it as I wasn't born until 86.........I remember it happening in the mid to late 90s.
