Regularly applying wax to your car has a whole host of benefits, let’s take a look at the most obvious ones; It’s supplied in a 120 gram pot and includes an applicator pad and a Hi-Tech microfiber cloth. It’s extremely easy to work with and apply, simply load up the included applicator pad and apply to the car panel in a circular motion ensuring to cover the entire panel. Leave to cure to a haze for 10-15 minutes and buff off with the included microfiber cloth to reveal a deep shine. Once your wheels are clean and dry, begin applying the wax to the wheels in light, circular motions. Just like when applying the wax to the paintwork, allow the wax to dry to a haze and buff to a high shine with a fresh, clean microfibre cloth.

Q. Can you use Fusso Light on dark paint? Yes, you can use Fusso Light on dark paint. It won’t do any harm to the paint. And it will last just as long. Fusso light doesn’t contain fillers that can slightly boost the shine of older dark cars. There are two main downsides with the Soft99 wax, refinement and durability. As a nearly 40-year-old product, it stems from a time when waxes weren’t as advanced or nice to use. It’s agricultural in almost every aspect, from the metal tin and useless sponge applicator right down to the fact the wax stinks of fumes. It’s this last part that’s really worrisome, the smells could be a health risk if there’s poor ventilation. Becuase of the solvent content within the wax, we reccomend waiting atleast 24 hours before applying the second coat. 24 hours should be sufficient to ensure the second coat adheres to the paint properly. It’s remarkably easy to apply and remove which we think is a really important point for any wax. It’s not a fun experience removing paste waxes which have bonded to the paintwork like cement and believe us, there are plenty that do that. The biggest plus of higher-end car waxes with a high percentage of natural wax is durability. The best products can offer 3-8 months of protection, depending on weather conditions and the like. As a result, you’ll be detailing your car less often, as dirt isn’t able to cling onto the car. Water beading makes drying much easier. Use Autoglym Polar Wash to hand wash the car using multiple microfibre mitts. Once you complete a section grab another clean mitt to minimize scratching. We decided to use Fusso Coat instead of an expensive ceramic coating. There are a number of reasons for this.Wax will last longer on your car if you can keep it out of the sun and away from moisture for 12 hours. This very much depends on the wax that you’re using. Some waxes will only last for a short period of time such as 6-8 weeks, after this period of time they’ll stop protecting the paintwork and will need to be re-applied. Some waxes such as Soft99 Fusso Coat will last anywhere up to 12 months. That said, even using a wax such as Fusso, we would advise applying a wax a minimum of twice per year. There are two variants available, one designed specifically for light coloured cars and one designed speficially for dark coloured cars. Whilst it wouldn’t be a disaster to use the wrong one, it’ll certainly help to match up the correct one for your particular car. Pre-Wash: the car was pre-washed with Built Hamber Auto Foam. The foam was washed off with a pressure washer after about 5 minutes. This removed most of the dust in a safe way.
