For adults, the elderly, and children over two years of age, the cream should be applied 2 to 3 times a day for up to 3 days. If your symptoms have not improved after 3 days (or if you feel worse) you should talk to a doctor or a pharmacist. When should I not use Anthisan Bite and Sting Cream? As with all corticosteroids, application to the face may damage the skin and should be avoided. Caution should be taken to keep away from the eyes.

Most native UK spiders are harmless, but a few (such as the false widow) can bite. Bites may cause pain, redness and swelling.
