About this deal

I have used Line6 for many many years and have had Bass pod, bass pod pro, X3 live and all were easy to get decent and sometimes mind blowing stuff.

Use either of 2 performance modes to seamlessly switch up patches and effects during live shows. PRESELECT mode lets you jump from patch to patch without affecting your current sound, while STOMP mode lets you turn individual effects on and off. Key Features Be able to edit with Guitar Lab / no doubt the excellent Tone Lib software will be adapted for this very shortly also too. As @Chienmortbb said above " It is a PITA to programme any digital multi effects unit from the knobs and buttons on the front." Completely agree, particularly the MS-60B in my experience.latest chip set, same as the B3N => up to 5 effects per patch (vs 4 on the MS-60B); and you can set to use a patch as a bank of 5 individual effects which is very neat I have owned lots of the available and not so available preamp pedals and preamp pedal with effects modelers and have to say…… Anyway, if you got one laying around, it can be powered via B-type micro usb cable (smartphone charge cable) or an usual 9v dc lead. Please note that unfortunately the patches are model specific e.g. a B1-4 patch can't be used on a B1-4X or B3N significantly easier to use interface. The MS-60B used to do my head in before the advent of patch editing software; but the ToneLib PC editing software is free, easy to use and makes creating and editing patches a doddle on all Zoom pedals and has levelled the playing field on that score.

The answer probably already exists but buried in the hpf thread somewhere - remind why you use shelf instead of hpf? Thought it would be good to have a thread for any of us who fancy sharing the details of any patches you've made and finding useful (ideally with a close up pic of the effects settings) OR if you want some help / ideas for pulling a particular sound / effects patch together - please shout! Then there are a LOT of great individual effects available which are common across both multi fx pedals. You'll likely agree with me that a huge amount of the benefit / fun is going to come from creating our own bespoke patches to improve on some of the pre-loaded ones. For editing purposes on your PC either the free Zoom editing software or that provided by ToneLib - Zoom are both really useful. Al Krow Saved both your Glam Comp settings and your Free Bman patch to my B3n. I shall be trying out the HPF in front of my patches too. Any thoughts on putting the HPF at the end of the chain to cut out an low frequencies created by the effects?USB: USB Midi, USB Micro-B (Power Can Also Be Supplied Through The USB Port, When Using A Cable Designed Only For Power, Other USB Functions Cannot Be Used) The Free Bman is actually @JohnDaBass's contribution rather than mine (credit where it's due and all that! ) The Zoom B1 Four is a game-changer for bass players, combining affordability, ease of use, and a wealth of features that elevate your playing to new heights.
