About this deal

Before moving on to the next quest in the chain you should do the dailies he offers. See the “hunting dailies” section below for a guide on those.

Like I said at the beginning of the hunting section, it is extremely important to understand the terrain as well as your prey. Let’s look at the characteristics of the wolves. You technically don’t need to gather from them to complete the quest. However, the crocodile daily (that you do right after this) requires 5 deer meat to use as bait. Therefore it’s highly recommended to gather from the deer after killing them. Suggested starter points are the issues of using technology responsibly and thepace of advancing technologies. Real-life examples could be used, such as mobile phones and artificial intelligence, alongside examples from stories such as Jurassic Park and Wildspark. Get inventing in the classroomPrue is driven by a desire to bring her brother to life again, but it's her warm nature, natural creativity and loyalty to friends and family that really help her the most as she navigates the complex issues of using technology responsibly. The narrative provides plenty to think about; many of the issues raised will resonate with readers growing up in the current generation that's used to the pace of technologies advancing faster than the Gigantrek itself. I’m sure the book will raise fascinating discussions in many classrooms.

Prue is just the most amazingly inspirational young girl. She is not only ingenious, curious and determined but also courageous, kind-hearted and principled, no matter the cost. She is also a fantastic STEM role model, who is determined to make a difference in the world. If you’re not careful about the fight things could go terribly wrong and it will just straight up kill you. Books which could be linked are Women in Science by Rachel Ignotofsky and The Story of Inventions by Anna Claybourne and Adam Larkum. Design your own personifate

Hunting Gear & Stats

How important is it do you think for children to see a range of diverse, different characters in the stories written for them? The amount of Contribution EXP that can be obtained by completing the quest varies depending on your current number of Contribution Points. What stories and authors did you enjoy as a child? Are there any that you feel have particularly influenced you? Skilfully mixing elements of science fiction, school stories and fantasy, Wildspark already feels like a children's classic–and one that you'll struggle to forget.

It also helps to find a small rotation that you know very well. Take time to run around and learn the terrain until you find those perfect shooting spots that will give you the advantage, with plenty of distance. There are some (literally) inventive ideas in this book and I enjoyed the focus upon girls flourishing in STEM environments, but I just feel like the plot and characters were never fully embellished. On the other hand, the characterisation overall isn't very deep; the characters feel as if they have been assembled out of traits. Agapantha is shy and scared of heights, and not much else, while the book didactically teaches us that it is brave to overcome these things. It also teaches us that Racism (against enslaved dead souls in robot bodies, which is something a lot of people might find dubious) is Wrong and Bullying is Wrong, without a lot of depth to it. (Oh, and rich people are automatically bad and snooty and also culturally oppressed by having to go to banquets and behave with propriety and so on...) With a +10 professional musket, incorporating all of those fox kills, I can do 1 full rotation, and then do a second rotation through the 5th wolf (aka, not enough durability for the very last wolf). Once at the Guild, Prue meets a colourful group of apprentices who become her friends; Agapantha, a bright mathematician and Edwin, a creative stoat and the first personifate apprentice. Cora Duval also shares Prue and Agapantha’s dorm room and provides much conflict with her hatred of lower classes and personifates. They all have relatable insecurities and are very ‘real’ characters even though they inhabit a fantasy world. After doing the quest you should kill the crocodiles in the lake. If they’re all there there should be 3 of them. Each one gives a hefty sum of xp, as well as a generous drop table.

Grace Hopper – designer of Harvard’s Mark I computer in 1944 and inventor of computer programming. Interestingly, the terms "bug" and "debugging" originated from when she had to remove moths from the device! Recently, I really loved Sinéad O’Hart’s The Star-Spun Web – it’s a fabulous multi-verse tale with a great cast of characters, and I’m a huge fan of The Apprentice Witch series by James Nicol which is a total hug of a series! Fixed the issues of terrain features in certain locations in the Vadabin Sea being displayed abnormally. Wizard] Fixed the issue where the appearance of the Garnier Guitar when equipped on a Wizard was displayed differently than on other classes.
