The quality of the box and cards is good, although I’m not sure how long the easel will last if constantly used - but hey, it’s no deal breaker as it isn’t really a necessity. The replay-ability is there as the game has plenty of cards, both caption and photograph, and I like the recommendation in the rules to add your own pics into the mix. That is as long as you’re not going to lose friends when people play certain risqué or offensive captions to fit alongside your beaming mugshot and delightful family photos! Compete with your friends and family in What Do You Meme? UK Edition to create the funniest memes by using one of your dealt caption cards to caption the photo card! They do so in the same manner, by placing their tokens on top of the card they think is the right guess. Players are allowed to bet on them selves, but if they do so, they may only bet up to 2 tokens. Relaxed: No time limit while creating and you can change your meme. Memes are not judged, just enjoyed. No stress, maximum creative freedom. There are also 75 large Photo Cards, a cardboard Easel and a very light and humorous rulebook. Gameplay Normal: Each player gets a random meme and has to think of the text for it. Afterwards, the players rate each other's memes and award their Meme Buddy. Whoever collects the most points wins.

Most common internet memes are photos with a bold caption written in Impact font. The text will usually be The game goes on for 3 full rounds around the table (everyone gets 3 turns), while players accumulate cash. In the 4th and final round, players ditch their tokens, and in stead gets to bet as much of their accumulated cash as they want. All bets that turned out to be incorrect guesses are canceled (you don't lose money on canceled bets). I liked the Freestyle cards although it can be irritating if you’ve laid down a corker of a card that you’ve been saving only to have it wasted. Plus, I liked the idea of swapping your hand when get gets clutter with crap cards but for the cost of a precious victory point. - I think I’ll “house rule” this into other similar party games I play. Within the sturdy box you will find 360 Caption Cards, some of which are sealed and carry a Super Mature Content Warning on them. This is helpful to know, that the offensive adult content of the game has been separated allowing players to choose whether to play with these cards or not. This is a chance to either catch-up if you are behind, or to completely obliterate your opponents, by continuously doubling your stash. The other players must then guess and bet on your reaction, and you'll bet on which of the other players you think has guessed it right.

With illustrations based on popular internet memes such as "Me Gusta", "Challenge Accepted" and "Rage Guy", you choose one of 7 meme cards, as a reaction to a read scenario. Same Meme: Each round, all players get the same meme and have to come up with their own text for it. The rest is the same as in the game mode "Normal". After about four or five games, we had already played most of the caption cards, and the novelty of the memes began to wear off. Price: Fairly priced amongst the competition Alternatively, in stead of using the provided scenarios, you are of course welcome to make up your own!I liked the Freestyle cards although it can be irritating if you’ve laid down a corker of a card that you’ve been saving only to have it wasted. Plus, I liked the idea of swapping your hand when get gets clutter with crap cards but for the cost of a precious victory point. – I think I’ll “house rule” this into other similar party games I play. Lean more about yourself and others, as you guess and bet on the reactions, to the wide variety of comic and mind-boggling scenarios in 'What do you meme?' - or make up your own scenarios as the game progresses! Each What Do You Meme core game contains 435 cards. 360 of these are caption cards and 75 are photo cards. All bets that turned out to be correct guesses are paid in cash (funny-money bills).
