About this deal

Wrong. With the Era of the Beast in full swing, the continent of Thondia is awash with wild warbands. On top of detailed maps and a bestiary of lore, Season of War: Thondia contains reams of rules for scrapping over these savage lands in open, narrative, and matched play, as well as fielding the terrifying incarnation of Ghur itself – the Krondspine Incarnate. An exciting narrative exploring the wild Realm of Beasts, as the Prime Huntress Yndrasta investigates the strange events transforming the land When panic and sabotage need to be sown on a wider scale, Lictors are the Hive Mind’s weapon of choice. They are agile and stealthy creatures, and slip through the defensive lines to slaughter valuable targets Neurolictor Re-enact the iconic scene at Khazad-dûm (just be careful of dropping your own Gandalf) and then terrorise the forces of Good with an epically powerful Balrog. As you might expect, this creature is a force of destruction on the battlefield, capable of sweeping aside entire armies by itself. Expand your battlefield and set your scuffles amidst Ghur’s wind-swept heartlands with the Realmscape: Thondian Expanse box, containing two fold-out, double-sided boards. The se can be combined to build a perfectly-sized battlefield for games of up to 1000 points – and expanded further as your battles grow.

Depicted at their most optimistic moment, the Fellowship of the Ring are assembled once again in this set of nine models. Field them as a single force and you can take on an entire army, using each member’s unique skills to fight off hordes of Evil-doers. When the Hive Mind identifies a stubborn target that needs eliminating or strategic object that needs claiming, it will distil part of its essence into a towering Norn Emissary. These massive creatures are spawned with a singular purpose , and pursue it with unrelenting ferocity. The Norn Emissary dominates its foes with powerful psychic powers which can shrug off grievous blows as it hunts down its prey. The multitudinous foot soldiers of the Tyranid swarm get some love, as the revitalised Termagants first seen in the Leviathan boxed set get a bonus sprue of special weapons. The box also includes a single Ripper Swarm. Hormagaunts Cultivate the beginnings of an endless tide of bioforms, or do battle with the Vardenghast Swarm in games of Combat Patrol – the choice is yours with Combat Patrol: Tyranids. This box contains a Winged Tyranid Prime, 20 Termagants, five Barbgaunts, three Von Ryan’s Leapers, a bulbous Psychophage, and two additional Ripper Swarms. Datasheet Cards: Tyranids Rules for using the Krondspine Incarnate of Ghur, a powerful new unit type available to all factions, plus warscroll battalions and battleplans for recreating the story of Season of War: Thondia

The Tyranid hive fleets are rapacious alien swarms that flow from beyond the galactic fringe to devour all life. From their chitinous blades and parasitic guns to the vast hive ships that ferry them across the stars, everything about the Tyranids is organic. Like an endless insect swarm, their individual warrior organisms are given unified purpose by the imperatives of a vast and ineffable alien consciousness known as the Hive Mind. Tyranid vanguard organisms are used to sow terror among enemy forces, and few do it as well as Deathleaper. A fine-honed advancement of the Lictor strain, Deathleaper uses its instinctual understanding of fear responses to terrorise its foes, incapacitating and sowing paranoia before it guts its targets with a fearsome array of talons and claws. Lictor What if we already have tons of counters? Biomass Mutation changes the base power and toughness of our creatures to make the creatures bigger! Want to go even bigger? Pair this with Nexos for absolutely absurd numbers.

Company Details

To celebrate this groundbreaking trilogy, all three books – Dark Apostle , Dark Disciple , and Dark Creed – are now collected in one beautifully presented special edition boxed set. Bound in maroon cloth covers with foil details, they are held in a classically decorated sleeve – but with only 1,000 signed and numbered copies available, you’ll need to secure yours fast. The Rose in Darkness This is the definitive companion for all Tyranid players, replacing the Index with a fully fleshed-out collection of exciting Detachment rules, glorious miniature showcases, and fascinating lore. There’s also terrain to represent the Thondian wastes – the remains of once-burgeoning settlements brought low by rampaging monsters in the form of Domicile Shells, a Cleansing Aqualith, and the remains of a fearsome Megadroth. You’ll also get two double-sided battleboards, which depict the arid waste on one side, and the swamps of Ghur – where Kruleboyz connive – on the other. As the Era of The Beast rages on, the savage Realm of Ghur awakens. Across bone-strewn plains and blood-soaked swamps, the alpha-continent of Thondia is consumed by war. Rival powers battle over arid wastes littered with the ruins of forgotten kingdoms, wary expeditions navigate murky, shifting marshes that echo with monstrous roars, and armies fight for dominance like rabid animals. Everything in Ghur is either predator or prey – not even the land can escape this truth.
