About this deal

It performs as fast as any other Android tablet Ive had for what I use it for, so no complaints whatsoever. Youtube, drone apps, the usual basic stuff really. Built using high strength polyurethane and aluminum alloy. The TRIPLTEK is protected from accidental drops and is able to support up to a ton of pressure, it is also dust and water-resistant IP-68 and can withstand extreme temperature ranges ranging from 0°F to 120°F. Sleek Design with Uncompromised Durability

Sent it up again after a tablet restart, and carried on. Only for it to happen again shortly afterwards. The tablet itself is running Android 10. I was a bit concerned about that as we are now on13? I just hope it doesn't have a shorter life span due to this, hopefully it will be upgraded in time. For the most part, it works a treat with DJI Fly. Smooth video, no laggyness, bright screen (did I already mention that !)

Second, you can't configure the top left function button to any of the 6 otions in the IOS software. Only FPV/Follow and Gimble forward/down. There is no toggling to map, not changing the EV in camera settings... only those 2 options as tap and double tap. I have flown many drones over the years, but now have a Mini 3 Pro and have always used a large tablet to help me get the best shots. Maybe its a sign of getting older, but I just cant cope with the small screen on a normal mobile phone. The Ultra High Resolution 8 inch Display of 1200 cd/m² Sustained brightness makes the TRIPLTEK the brightest tablet/smartphone on the market, more than three times as bright as a typical mobile device. Operate your display under direct sunlight and all-weather conditions thanks to the glove touch and wet touch features. Protected Against the ElementsProblem I've had with the tablets is even with a sun shade on, its still very hard to see it well enough in direct sunlight. Hence my reason for looking at the Tripltek. Its a bit smaller than what I would like, but if the screen is that bright, I can make do with losing a bit of screen. The next day however, was much cooler, and the same thing happened. Tried various versions of the app, but couldn't get a fix. Its an awful lot of money for this tablet. If you are not flying a mini 3, hopefully it will not have this issue, and you can enjoy it to the full extent, but for Mini 3 pro users like myself, i feel a bit disappointed right now. After paying out so much money for a tablet that is compatible with all drones, I feel let down. It was a very hot day in the UK, and the screen was in direct sunlight.....you could probably fry an egg on the screen. I wondered if that was the issue, and thought no more of it.

I tried reversing the connector on the controller and triptek 8, used a different cable, but it kept connecting and disconnecting. Eventually I got a steady connection. Balances well though on the Tripltek mount that I bought at the same time, although again, its a bit overpriced in my opinion. I don't want to get rid of it as it has the potential to be perfect, but I don't know if it will ever get to that point. IMPORTANT: Custom setup equipment and sales of commercial/enterprise platforms are final and non-returnable.I hear that only the RC Pro for the M3 has OS3+. IS THIS CORRECT? What is the Standard controller transmitting and receiving in? OS3 or OS2? DJI stance appears to be that as the device isn't on the compatible list, it could take some time for it to be looked into. Every review I have watched or read say the screen is bright, but you don't really know how bright until you use it. But, its getting let down by the compatibility issue, which unfortunately, the end user has no way of resolving.
