About this deal

However, these niggles aside, Star Wars: Republic Commando is still one of our absolute favourite Star Wars games and something of a must-play for fans of the franchise who missed out first time around. This is a surprisingly dark and gritty tactical take on everyone's favourite space saga that's aged far better than it really had any right too, serves up a good few hours of top-notch pew-pew action and is a massively welcome addition to the Switch's currently rather paltry selection of Star Wars offerings. Next Generation reviewed the Nintendo 64 version of the game, rating it three stars out of five, and stated that "Yes, it's fast, it's largely customizable, features a lot of options, and it's fun, but it's tough to shake the feeling that if it weren't for the Star Wars license, it wouldn't otherwise stand out." [41] I won't stop whoever still does buys it however, and no one can force me to buy a game that I don't want to pay for. Gyro is here now, Switch in handheld greatly benefits from it (for those who want it), so the minimal effort required when porting a game over that requires aiming, for me to still consider buying it, is adding gyro options.

But given it was geared more towards little kids and not older kids or adults, it's basically impossible to lose. You have to find the plans to the Death Star from various locations in the movies (some done in an on-rails game engine, some literally being scenes from the movies that play on a loop, both of which have you find a red target reticle to scan).

WallyWest A pc fps is also not NOT playable without mouse support, it's just that most who play fps games prefer mouse support on a pc, and many prefer gyro on a Switch in handheld. There were also "random encounter" levels where you had to escape asteroids, fight TIE Fighters, and maybe a couple of other ones, if I remember correctly. Those would pop up when you selected a regular level, and had to complete them before you got into said regular level.
