Use something to pull and slide out the pen tip, like tweezers. Pull until the entire tip is removed from your Surface Pen. Note: Our premium Surface Slim Pen 2 is equipped with an easily removable pen tip. Removal is intended only for pen tip replacement. Excessive (500 or more) removal+ reinsertion cycles of the pen tip can damage the internal parts of the pen and lead to inking failures. Pen failure due to excessive removal and reinsertion cycles is not covered under the product warranty. Microsoft Classroom Pen The use of haptics is fantastic and makes the Microsoft Surface Pen 2 a really nice stylus to use for digital art. The shape too makes it easy to use in long runs of creativity, though I did find myself adjusting the pen between my fingers more than I have done with a regular drawing tablet stylus, such as those from Wacom and Huion.

Surface Slim Pen came with a Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard or a USB-C charging base. Both can be used to charge your pen. Select an accessory to learn how to set it up and more: A sharper pen tip helps you put a finer point on everything you do. You can approach the screen at a perfect angle for ultra-precise tilting, shading and up to 4,096 points of pressure sensitivity (dependent on Surface Tablet). If you own a Surface Pro 8 or Surface Laptop Studio, or are considering buying one, then you should absolutely get the Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2. It's a smartly designed stylus with some unique features as well as a clever design. Once your pen is paired, you'll be able to use the top button. Your Surface is designed to ignore your hand and other inputs while you write. Use the pointer that appears under your pen tip to guide you while you ink. You need to charge your pen before using it. Place it in the charging area of your device or accessory for 1 second. When you’re ready, use Bluetooth to pair your pen to a Surface. Here’s how: Press the top button of your Slim Pen to launch Microsoft Whiteboard. To customize the top button shortcuts or change pen settings, select Start > Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink . Your pen is receiving power and trying to pair with a device. Restart your Surface and try pairing it again.
