The negatives about this board are very much dependent on preference. You pay a premium for what I would call better quality assurance. Gigabyte has better value in this space, but you are taking a chance IMO on quality/reliability. There are boards with more m.2 slots, but again 2 is more than enough for most people at gen 4 with 2tb being relatively common now days. MSI I like a lot, but honestly they can get more expensive easily and the comparable boards I usually just choose Asus because the prices are the same.
