At 11.5″ by 7.5″ this mirror is a common size. It does not have as much distortion around the edges of the mirror as many others. The mirrored surface provided a clear reflection. It is plenty wide enough to be able to see a good portion of the car seat.

There are two types, one which can be used with rear-view carseats and the other which is suitable for front-facing seats.
