About this deal

At 11.5″ by 7.5″ this mirror is a common size. It does not have as much distortion around the edges of the mirror as many others. The mirrored surface provided a clear reflection. It is plenty wide enough to be able to see a good portion of the car seat.

If you think I left any out that should be included or have a suggestion for a future article, let me know in the comments below. There are two types, one which can be used with rear-view carseats and the other which is suitable for front-facing seats. All the regular mirrors could be installed in less than 5 minutes and most took under 3 minutes. The video cameras ranged from 11 to 21 minutes.Car mirrors come in various shapes and sizes, so you just need to choose one that works best for your carseat and your baby. The look-alike mirrors (Itomoro, HOCANY, DARVIQ, Shynerks, Smart eLf, and Zacro) have a convex shape, meaning they bulge out in the front and recede at the edges. This provides a wider viewing area that extends to both sides of the car seat. These mirrors have some distortion in the image near the edge of the mirrors. We had no problem getting most of the mirrors tightly strapped to the headrest. This was true both in the vehicle and on our testing stand. Installation Time

ADJUSTABLE ANGLES - The 360° rotation allows you to modify the mirror’s angles with minimum effort to fit your and your babies needs. This makes it a great choice for all car headrests This is where baby car mirrors come in handy - so that you can always keep safety at the front of your mind for both you and your baby, even when your baby eventually grows out of a seat. What types of baby car mirror are there? I like how it hasn't just got set angles like some in-car mirrors have; you can move the mirror to endless positions to get it lined up just right. The fact that it's easy to install is a plus. The large size of the mirror means it's so easy to keep an eye on my baby when I'm driving, and she can see me too. The Itomoro held its position extremely well in our vibration and strike testing with hardly any motion at all. After the initial adjustment to get the angle right, it stays put unless you really push on it. EASY TO INSTALL - Choose between 3 different attachment options to ensure your mirror firmly stays in place and won’t wobble during car journeys. The adjustable straps are easy to install and removeOverall, the FITNATE LED Car Mirror is a great option for keeping an eye on your baby regardless of whether its light or dark. It isn’t the cheapest but the fact it comes with a lifetime guarantee is a clear indication of its high quality design. Another baby car mirror that comes with the desirable LED lighting is by the FITNATE brand. Unlike the Munchkin alternative above, it has a more subtle design that maximize the view of your baby on the rear seat.

If you have a solid headrest or not, as long as you have a headrest, you should be fine with the Onco mirror. As you can see, it straps in in a number of different ways ensuring that it gets a solid fitting and won’t come off. The last thing you want on bumpy roads is for the mirror to be thrown at your child when driving along.

What types of baby mirrors are there?

Fortunately, baby car mirrors present a simple solution to this problem which will give you complete peace of mind while driving.
