About this deal

vol.4 (in Japanese). Shueisha. November 17, 2015. Archived from the original on August 25, 2017 . Retrieved September 27, 2020. In North America, Viz Media announced the English language release of the volume in July 2020. [17] The volume was published on January 5, 2021. [1] No.

Wandering around during a Day Off - Yuuji and Megumi strolled around while waiting for Nobara finished shopping. The boys played game in arcade then happened to see Gojo. They followed him to here and there until they arrived to an angelic maid cafe and were forced to spend time there. The Mary Sue saw parallels between Yuji and Yuta, both of whom deal with a curse they are trying to get rid of, although Yuta's growth makes him appealing because he stops wanting to die and appreciates his life. According to the reviewer, Yuta's cursing of Rika rather than the reverse felt like a strong twist. The supporting characters Maki, Panda and Inumaki were praised for developing alongside Yuta; [33] Real Sound particularly praised the bond the Jujutsu Sorcerers have in general; in one volume, it is shown Maki trains Yuta and befriends in the process, which gives further depth to the main manga. [39] Otaquest lamented the demoted roles of the supporting characters in the finale when they are defeated by Geto but noted the manga helps readers to further understand them. [35] Despite Gojo being identical to his regular persona, critics found the pilot helps to further explore his past as a result of his tragic relationship with Geto, which reveals a major twist in the main series. [33] [35] [34] Geto's link with Yuta through the late Sugawara no Michizane made Real Sound wonder if Akutami had planned to develop such character in the main series because it helps explain why the protagonist and his mentor are so powerful. [40] During publication of the monthly series, Akutami had no intention of having his series published in Weekly Shōnen Jump. The positive response to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, however, led him to turn the series into the main manga, Jujutsu Kaisen. When starting this series, Akutami had not planned any themes for the narrative but had the idea of giving the characters a cool appeal. The narrative of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 became connected with the other manga, with the final chapter being conceived as soon as he started writing it. He said, however, he was not sure about the possibility of properly connecting the beginning with the ending. [7] Loo, Egan (May 30, 2021). What they did the best was definitely add even more character depth. They made me find new reasons to genuinely care about characters I didn't think much about, like Mahito or Ichiji. And Yuuji’s different stories definitely gave me at least a hundred more reasons to be even more in love with our main character. That last story, which was my favorite, definitely had me tearing up from the sheer love I have for him. Comments that are not in accordance with the Guidelines and/or that violate TOM’s Terms of Use and/or other policies are eligible to be reported or removed. Akutami wrote the series with no themes to follow but wanted to write and draw cool-looking characters. They were often supported by their two editors while writing the manga. The manga was a commercial success in both Japan and North America. Critical response to the manga was generally positive; several reviewers praised Yuta's role and his relationship with Rika. Critics found Yuta more compelling than Jujutsu Kaisen 's Yuji Itadori who, while having several similarities with Yuta, has different characterizations. The relationships of the main cast were also well-received and the manga's artwork was praised. This light novel, written by Kitaguni (with original story by Gege), includes a series of short stories of our favorite characters from the original manga. a b Mateo, Alex (March 26, 2021). I was so curious to discover the novel adapted from one of my favorite mangas of all times. It compiles 5 separate stories following Yuuji & Megumi, Gojo & Nanami, Mahito, Yuuji & Ichiji and Yuuji by himself. And I really loved it ! Fables from the Dark - Mahito's story when he encountered a "weird" human being who had given up everything in life. I didn't really like Mahito he killed Nanami, for God's sake!! but as a character, he's a great one (plus, Shimazaki-san voiced him!). I think this story can make us understand Mahito a bit better. a b c Lawrence, Briana (March 3, 2021). "My Manga Shelf Presents: Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 0". The Mary Sue. However, noticing their teacher, Satoru Gojo was also there, they tail him, watching as he eat crepes, play capsule toy machines and even enter a maid cafe. The Hardworking Ijichi-sensei - A story about Yuuji who spent a day following Ijichi-san to many places to work. I LOOOOVE this story. Ijichi-san may not be a popular character, but he's an ordinary adult among the "specials" one and that makes him so relatable to many other adults who read JJK like me. This story explained to us how was the administrative works behind the exorcising or fighting events in JJK and make us understand how important the auxiliary managers were and why the Jujutsu Sorcerer Society needed a lot of them. I really like the relationship between Ijichi-san and Yuuji here.
