Of course, this is more of a warm-season scent, yet the bitter bay leaf and ambergris adds range. In my opinion, this is good for spring/summer/autumn day time. Think holidays, lunches, city breaks, and even the office. This is pretty much an any-season except the hottest days of summer as its just a little too sweet for hot daywear. Invictus Legendis an incredibly versatile any-season scent. Its freshness is ideal for spring/summer, and its warm amber can still hold its own for the colder seasons. Equally wearable day or night. The name Invictus is Latin for “invincible” — and indeed it seems as if Invictus has been a dominant force in the men’s cologne market since its introduction. Invictus Intenseperforms really well. You can expect 7+ hours of wear (less on scorchingly hot days) with strong/projection and sillage. Paco Rabanne has done an excellent overall job with the Invictus collection. Maybe not their advertising slogan, but I cannot contain myself any longer; THIS IS SPARTA!
Toward the end, what I get is yuzu, guaiac wood, ambergris, violet leaf, and the aquatic notes slowly turning into quite an oceanic scent. It starts to just smell like sea water on my skin. That happens like at the very end of the day, though. Notes include grapefruit and sea notes, mandarin orange, bay leaf, jasmine, ambergris, and oak moss. It opens with a citrusy fruity vibe with a sweet, sugary scent early on. Performance is excellent. I was still getting whiffs of Legend after 8+ hours with good sillage and projection. It was still on my clothing 2 days later. Now, that’s impressive. Invictus Aqua is just such a fragrance. A straight fragrance that captivates with a clear line. One knows after the first sprayer what one can expect and what he knows to convince. I myself mainly used it when I got up on the weekend and then made my way to the bakery or took care of other short distances. For these purposes a perfume which radiates more and is more finished is simply too bad for me. It has an almost "alcoholic" freshness, which I think comes from the grapefruit (previously "grapefruit peel"), as well as the stronger focus on the violet leaf.
What Does Invictus Aqua Smell Like
I’m not always a huge fan of aquatics, especially when it turns to pure sea water. Invictus Aqua is exactly that, deep into the wear. It’s really not my favorite part. Overall, do I like Invictus Aqua? I do. I think that it is a very good scent for what it is. I’m not looking to buy a bottle personally, since I’m not a huge fan of the Invictus line, but for those who are this is a worthy addition. The Invictus fragrance line-up offers bold, crowd-pleasing options which represent a battle (or perhaps we should say clever balance) between citrus freshness, sweetness, and woody spiciness. Invictus Aqua 2018 has really no easy life... is considered but his big brother Invictus Aqua 2016 the popular and unbeatable insider tip!
