About this deal

He's been going through so much that I just want to give him a hug. The way he took his time to be better with Ziggy. He really made sure to love himself enough to love her. The song was released in the UK during summer 2011, with Freja replacing Therese. [8] [9] A music video was shot for its release ( music video on YouTube).

ziggy my baby. she’s come so far from the shy timid girl she was first introduced as earlier in the series. i loved seeing her grow and flourish. and i loved how sebastian saw her for who she truly was even when her own family didn’t, and reaffirmed and helped her in so many way to stand her own. Because of Frankie’s nearly ubiquitous presence in If Only You, I can only rate this novel 1.9/5 stars. We can use wish + would(n't) to show that we are annoyed with what someone or something does or doesn't do. We often feel that they are unlikely or unwilling to change. In conclusion, if you haven't read any of the Bergman Brothers series and met these adorable family members, you are missing out on a lot! Ziggy es una chica con autismo y es la más pequeña de los hermanos por lo que siempre la tratan como si fuera una niña y la sobreprotegen y para el colmó en su equipo de futbol y para los medios es la chica buena que no toman en serio. If Only You may have taken the top spot as my favorite of the Bergman Brothers series! Which is hard, because I ADORED Always Only You. The Bergman Brothers series is definitely my guilty pleasure that I want to revisit a few more times and enjoy the entire re-reading experience by spending more time with those amazing characters! I love each and every one of them!

Ziggy and Seb were everything, and being able to have a front row seat to their journey was wonderful. I've never wanted to hug and hold two characters more and tell them that they deserve everything the world has to offer. I love that they started as fake friends and their banter was top notch. The little things they did for each other were so sweet. Ziggy helping him with his diet post-diagnosis was adorbs & the Shakespeare/bookish connection while a little on the nose made for cute interactions - speaking of The Bergman family meddling was perfect, where it wasn't too much. I really enjoyed getting to see Ziggy as her own person, instead of just "the youngest Bergman." There is also such a good Viggo scene in this book, and it makes me really excited to read his story next. Chloe Liese is a genius. She always knows how to write stories and characters that I’ll certainly fall for. I'm just sad the story felt kinda “rushed”. Dunno but I really wish it was longer so we would’ve had more chances to see how their relationship developed and to enjoy more of them. And I can't wait for Only and Forever to see Viggo finally getting his happily ever after. Those made-up worlds contain some of the most tender, scary, beautiful human truths, navigated in the safety of imagination, whose wisdom and hopes I take with me bravely into my own life. Ziggy was one of my favorite Bergman siblings from the start, so I'm a little bit sad that I didn't LOVE her book; BUT, I didn't hate it either. Thankfully, Ziggy offers him a solution - they will pretend to be friends, and in doing so, Sebastian can prove that he is not the villain that people believe him to be, and Ziggy can finally get the public attention she desires. But as they spend more time together, Ziggy realizes that Sebastian is not the self-absorbed jerk that everyone thinks. He has his own demons to confront and a troubled past filled with abandonment and abuse. He just needs someone to believe in him, and Ziggy becomes that person.

That’s when I just…feel it all leave me. The anger, the cold, aching sadness, like a poison leaving my system. Yet, my biggest problem with this novel had nothing to do with the main characters of Ziggy and Sebastian or their respective trajectories. It had to do with the fact that Frankie (one of my least favorite heroines of all time) was featured heavily throughout the entire book. And when I say “heavily,” I mean that she was mentioned in EVERY FREAKING CHAPTER! The author metaphorically rammed her down the readers’ throats to the point where I felt myself gag.I also really appreciated that while both main characters were queer, it was never a topic of discussion. It was just one line for each where their sexuality was stated, and no one was every questioned or had to explain themselves, and that was wonderful and so causal and it's how I hoped it always went (this also goes for all the queer rep throughout this entire book, and not just the main characters)

Ziggy, the youngest and the baby of the Bregman family, proposes a fake friendship with her brother's best friend, the troublemaker Sebastian. That’s not what I asked,” I whispered, nuzzling his nose. I can’t believe I’m doing this. I can’t believe I’ve lasted this long not doing this.I appreciated how easy it was for them to communicate, that they felt safe enough to be vulnerable around each other. They've known each other for years now, but they've never actually talked/interacted until a very weird moment during Ren and Frankie's wedding. And after that, they don't talk again until Ziggy realizes that they're what each other needs—she wants to be seen as more of a badass, and Sebastian needs to recover his public image—and that a fake but public friendship between them might solve their problems.
