The details of how Chetan discovered his abilities came about through a reading he experienced from a Chayyashastri (Shadow Reader) in Bombay, now Mumbai, in 1979. Finding himself no longer satisfied with everything he had understood about himself especially in the field of engineering, Chetan was guided to have a session to find some personal clarification. Chetan was given a transfixing view of himself in all aspects of his life. He was told things about himself that he had long forgotten, barely imagined, or never considered important. At the end of the session, the Shadow Reader asked Chetan to come and work with him: “…….because you know how to do this kind of work.” So there you have it, the three most useful books to get you started on your journey with Human Design. I expect to update this article semi-regularly as new and useful HD books come onto the market. Having said that, Chetan is a Projector; he is deeply insightful and a very wise guide. If you can handle a few different names for parts of your chart then I can wholeheartedly recommend this book. I own it and would give away copies to my own family (if they were at all interested in HD, that is!) This book exceeded my expectations, as far as how much useable information is in it. The author is well versed in all aspects of HD, and the creation of the book was overseen by the founder of the HD system. Karen is great at making complex things simple. I spent years learning directly from Karen and she’s a total sweetheart who cares about her impact on the lives of others.We live in this information age and hustle culture wherelife is moving so incredibly fast.Many of us are pushed to work past our physical limits, we’re flooded with information and handed down narratives and scripts on how we “should” live life or the pace that we should live life.
A week later, Chetan met a Psychic Palm Reader who for 10 minutes showed Chetan about many of the lines and markings in a hand.
