That’s not a question you would have to ask yourself if you were looking at an animal in real life. But this faint smattering of stars known as Camelopardalis is supposed to represent a giraffe. Its name in Latin does indeed mean giraffe, and the word originally comes from the Greek’s word for a giraffe, which was spotted camel. h2>

Fun Comes First! Bright Starts just put a whole new spin on giggling fun with the Having a Ball Spin & Giggle Giraffe! This irresistible giraffe will keep your baby engaged and on the move. Sitting babies can drop balls into the giraffe's mouth for counting, music & lights. When your infant pushes the button or bats at the roller on giraffe's tie, the silly sounds and melodies get the giggles going. Toddlers can press giraffe's horns to make him spin around until the balls pop out of his feet, encouraging baby's gross motor skills and engage in cause and effect play. 6 colorful balls are included. Take the time to be silly, live in the moment and enjoy the best sound in the entire world - your baby's laughter. Recommended for ages 12 months and up. Toysrus.ca & Babiesrus.ca base "Our Suggested Age" ranges on these manufacturer recommendations, as well as considering which ages will enjoy the product. Such factors as a child's developmental skill set and toy popularity help determine the enjoyment levels of a product. Camelopardalis the Giraffe is a sprawling constellation with dim stars that circles closely to Polaris, the North Star. On the other side of the Giraffe is the bright star Capella in Auriga. Is it a camel or a giraffe? span itemprop="name">Great GigglesI bought this product right before my little man started walking and he loved to play with it and now that he can run, Let me just tell you He absolutely LOVES it. This region of sky is so empty of bright stars that ancient cultures didn’t give it a constellation name. Petrus Plancius was the first to introduce the constellation of the Giraffe in the early 1600s. Its modern boundaries simply encircle the vast territory of stars that were not already part of another constellation. It lies between Ursa Minor and Cassiopeia the Queen on one side and Ursa Major the Greater Bear on the other.

This baby musical toy is soft and sweet, and features an included link. This plush giraffe pal will hang around anywhere you or baby go. Easily attaches to strollers, carriers, and more to engage baby and get them exploring for fun and skill development during on- the-go travel. span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope>Mary104 fromIt can also be described as the nearly empty space off the end of Draco the Dragon’s tail. This drawing of Camelopardalis comes from Urania’s Mirror, a set of constellation cards from around 1825. Image via Wikimedia Commons. The Stars of Camelopardalis The Bright Starts Pull, Play & Boogie activity toy will bring joy to you and baby as they learn and play all at once! A gentle tug on the leaf sends the giraffe pal stretching. Watch as its body expands and slowly contracts to the tune of 60-second joyful melodies.
