Kratos has a great center of gravity and feels solid so he's able to stand freely without any extra support, both with and without the axe. Not slots or handles etc also it's really difficult getting him to stand without putting him in a wierd pose .

It’s exceedingly different than the other games and you’ll enjoy the figure more if you’ve played the art it’s based on. His vengeance against the gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. the design chosen to mount the shield on the arm could have been better if it were simply a handle instead of a peg that goes into his arm.Minus the fact he doesn't have many points of articulation and his axe doesn't split in two (like its supposed to) without excessive force, which would otherwise break it; this is a superb figure if you're a fan of the series, with fantastic detailing and proportions. Details most companies would be eager to overlook, like Omega symbol sheath on Kratos’s back, the wood feel of the horn on his belt, and the golden pattern sewn into his burgundy pouch are all gloriously realized. He's fully equipped to do battle with the gods themselves: accessories include two flaming Blades of Athena, two Cestus gauntlets, and two interchangeable head sculpts based on both the promotional art and in-game models for Kratos. The patchy white paint that covers his body is perfectly rendered, as it is not Kratos’s skin that is white, but the ashes of his loved ones that he was forced to wear as punishment. My one disappointment is with the figure’s ankles because they don’t hinge forward or backward nearly as much as I’d like.

But only 4 stars because the shield doesn't have an attachment point and the figure itself is difficult to stand. These god of war neca kratos are ideal for all types of kids decorations and are of high-quality standards.

As nice as those pieces are, though, I wish NECA had splurged on an extra set of hands and another head. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. For the shield it has a peg on the underside that slots onto Kratos left arm by removing the middle plate steel on his wrist gauntlet. If NECA can fix that and add butterfly joints, its articulation will be on the same level as the best domestic brands.

Kratos features a new aggressive head sculpt, new Mimir head on right hip, new gauntlets, new hands, new collapsed shield, new blades, and new fire and frost effects for weapons and hands, as well as 36 points of articulation. The axe can be separated at the middle of the handle making it easy to display in the hand of Kratos. Likewise, two years after releasing a God of War III Kratos figure, NECA is giving the character another go with God of War 4.I would’ve liked to see an extra right hand to hold the dagger, an extra left hand to two-hand the axe (the left hand is permanently sculpted in a fist), and an extra left hand posed in an expressive/grabbing pose. GOW4 is easily the best in the series with the amount of depth and character interaction (not to mention violence, the whole Norse mythology setting and the older, wiser Kratos as a father) Neca have paid homage to the game with this superb figure - has a few minor issue standing, but nothing serious.
