Faithfully recreated to summon destructive evil, this adult builder set harnesses all the dark magic you remember, including the cavern entrance, lavafall, suspended rocking bridge, prisoner shackles, monster pit with tentacles, c. I am unsure if the vintage one had those extra legs on the back…that seems like more of a 200x detail. It became a bigger deal once the internet became more widespread and people started collecting and seeing things they'd missed out on as kids. My only complaint about any of the trap Jaw figures it that there is no little clip to hang the accessories on his belt. More importantly than it being too small, though, I just don't find the eternia set all that interesting.

Sixty-five for this set is pretty much the ten cents a piece standard that Lego operates off of last I paid any attention. I'm not saying you have to because everyone collects differently and for different reasons, just that if I got the urge to sell it all because of frustration, I'd probably regret it later. This is top notch and I don't even collect the Contrux or any building setstuff but I can tell when something is done well. I put them together and even use them in my displays as placeholders until I can design and print better versions (or in the case of the Attak Trak, it'll just get put together and shoved in a box, since I prefer my design I already did). MATTEL products may have manufacturer-side creases, stress lines or dents on window box, blister and/or card.
I know that this is based on the Super7 Snake Mountain design, which summarizes the toy and the Filmation version. Instead of solid blocks, they have us use large flat rectangular pieces back to back with a row of studs in between. My 13 years old and even I at times felt like there wasn’t enough steps provided within the booklets to achieve what was being shown, like if steps were missing. Instead, we have a flimsier box, a worse design choice with the two large boxes and the decorative sleeve, and boring images on the front. And there is also just a photo of a Mattel box, but if you read closely, you will notice in the description that is clearly reads “ Mega Construx Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain“.

This set looks absolutely stunning in the classic purple deco with the large green snake winding around it! My 13 year old definitely appreciated how both sides of this He-man kit were separated into a section 1 and section 2 and how each section came with its own booklets. This packaging looks alot like the stuff they are doing for the MasterVerse line, (which I am not collecting. It is that sense that us collectors and fans crave that pushed the Super7 Snake Mountain to be so large and expensive.I could see Orko getting another release in the Grayskull tower set, along with yet another Sorceress and then who knows whom for the villains. You can print some pretty intricate designs on it, I used to use it for creating screens for screen printing. I'm one of the people who collects a brick-build line for the figures and cares nothing for the builds, really.
