About this deal

There is occasional use of discriminatory terms, including 'retarded' and 'dyke', and a single use of 'ni**a'. A few scattered scenes like those keep the rear channels chattering, but Mean Girls is a dialogue-driven flick, so its 24-bit TrueHD track lets the front speakers do most of the heavy lifting. The flick looks and sounds nice enough on Blu-ray, and there's a decent stack of extras to plow through.

Instead of just warming over a bunch of clips from the flick, Mean Girls' ad campaign piles on some clever wraparounds and new footage. Released in 2004, Mean Girls is the film that arguably defined the noughties and gave us more memorable quotes and moments than any other teen movie. She's sweet and demure enough to want to dance through the whole "thanks, but no thanks" routine, but Janis and Damien think this could be a blast. As Cady sets to take down the group's apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis and Damian, she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school. Whether you're looking for a specific series/season, or a complete DVD box set collection, we will do the hard work for you! Pretty much all of the highlights are the random notes they lob out: nicking the template for Regina from Glengarry Glen Ross, Amy Poehler stepping in as a rap coach, the lack of an umlaut in der Svedish language, slathering digital chocolate onto Rachel McAdams' teeth, and having to shoot their own skeevy Girls Gone Wild video. However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels, she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. After living in Africa with her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) must brave the wilds of high school - where she is taken under the wing of the popular girls, The Plastics, led by the cool and cruel Regina George (Rachel McAdams). com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646).

This is an especially quippy commentary, but even though Fey and Waters really don't ever stop talking, they don't say that much.

In addition to Mean Girls on both DVD and blu-ray, the ‘Burn Book’ edition includes a range of ‘so fetch’ exclusive collector’s items, presented in a rigid ‘Burn Book’ design box. Featuring sharper visuals, UHD will make you feels like you’re walking the halls of North Shore High alongside the Plastics. Seasoned nitpickers will still be able to tell that Mean Girls is a lower-budget catalog title minted from a master that's a few years old now -- the image is very lightly speckled, kind of grainy, and just the slightest bit softer than usual -- but all of that's easily shrugged off. Heathers and Clueless, split 'em down the middle, and you'll wind up with something an awful lot like Mean Girls.

Capturing the attention of audiences, the film has become an iconic and is often referenced in popular culture. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.Mean Girls won't curl any toes, but it's a solid catalog release and in the ballpark of what I waltzed in expecting. I'll probably look back at this somewhere down the line and wish I'd hammered out a better comparison, but my kneejerk reaction is that Mean Girls is an awful lot like a Lily Allen song: cute and bubbly on the outside, sure, but there's a fanged sense of humor and an almost subversive wit lurking underneath. Y'know, get someone on in the inside who could flip the Plastics over and expose their taut, well-toned, but vulnerable little underbellies. Trying to find her place among jocks, mathletes and other subcultures, Cady crosses paths with the meanest species of all - the Queen Bee, aka the cool and calculating Regina (Rachel McAdams), leader of the school's most fashionable clique, The Plastics.
