About this deal

We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. This book is a perfect example why discrimination and prejudice happen, so I’m happy how the authors illustrate and explain the story to the readers. Fighting against racism, bad boyfriends, crazy tiger moms, and a daughter who wants to give in her dream of becoming a professional ballerina instead of a practical profession, our main heroine tries to balance it all. I skipped a big section in the middle then read the last quarter of the book and didn't have any trouble picking up the plot line at the end. To pay for all this adventure, Alli has worked in education for over 20 years in San Francisco and Seattle - from an overcrowded, cacophonous public high school to a pristine private girl's school.

I literally devoured this book in half day and I recommend it to you all who is already exhausted to live same Groundhog day and looking for a brightening reading to get rid of darkening moods.Maybe this book wasn’t written for me as a reader, even though I hoped it would be as a Black woman educator looking for some laughs and a cute romantic story. This is a children’s picture book but if it is to be read with very young children, and even with older kids, discussion seems important. On top of composing the original score for the visual portion of Little Imperfections alongside Peet, he has written songs that have received worldwide radio airplay and have been featured in several forms of media, from Netflix original series to car commercials.

Peet Montzingo is a multi-faceted artist with a curious and kind heart, whose talents span creating original content, singing, comedy, and so much more. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. In the second, Macy is working as a doctor and engaged to a single father, and she hasn’t spoken to Elliot since their breakup. The romance was cute, even if for half the book I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to develop expectations toward a honestly dashing leadin man, as he was presented as a forbidden fruit in more ways than one. This, our newest “I Love You” book for couples, is just like your SO – full of little imperfections that you absolutely love. The story is told through the empathic and humorous perspective of Peet Montzingo, the internet sensation who grew up as the only "tall" sibling in a family of little people. A fun, snappy read about the over-the-top world of private school admissions and the unbreakable bonds of family.

Each of these traits tie into the center of the novel and make it all the more compulsively readable-- Tiny Imperfections reads so smoothly you can expect to lose yourself and your day without even realizing it.The severely unlikeable main character, the weird racial comments, the two second switch to all is well at the end, the glossing over of the completely inappropriate circumstances of a romantic relationship, the painful predictability. And even though Josie just wants her daughter, Etta, to attend an Ivy League college and major in something practical, Etta insists she wants to follow her ballet dreams and study dance at Julliard.

I am a child psychologist and an award-winning author of several books for children and teens related to emotions, behavior, and the science behind them. I have been following Peet on social media for a while now and have been looking forward to reading this book! The dazzling new picture book that addresses the universal themes of being different, feeling like you don't fit in, and finding yourself along the way.

That coming-of-age tale is at the heart of his picture book, which spins a tale reminiscent of The Ugly Duckling. Again, this is a children's book but there are lessons that an adult person can pick upon reading this wonderful peice of literature. Wouldn’t it be lovely to be a family or a classroom that describes inconsequential mistakes as beautiful oopsies?
