About this deal

This follows the same formula as a few other sports people's books I've read recently, providing insight into the sport which you might not know about. Senna was hotheaded, flamboyant and brilliant, but the studious little Frenchman was then and remains to this day one of my favourites. I've always loved cars, but going racing in Daytona, and doing 3 laps myself, really made me want to be involved.

I knew a lot of his F1 stuff - from 2005-onwards, his Championship winning year, the McLaren years, because I've been there, seen that.

In the words of Jenson "one of the things I love most about motorsport - you're always learning, always having to adapt and develop. But meeting K was a one in a lifetime event, my Harlequin summer, I'll never meet another man who loves racing and has a couple of million a year to spend on his hobby.

I adored the insights into the life of an F1 driver in the 2000s (from the outrageous motorhomes to the who's-got-the-biggest-boat competitiveness), which revealed a fair few surprises.I enjoyed it from the beginning, how he got into racing, his relationship with his dad and with Lewis Hamilton. Although very hard-hitting, it was also an exceptionally eye-opening chapter on the basis that I firmly believed his dad had died of a heart attack.

The excellent “My Championship Year” is much like a magazine diary layout with a lot of detailed content. persze ott van az édesapjához fűződő viszonya, amit nehéz nem sorsdöntő jelentőségűnek tekinteni, nemcsak a fiának nyújtott folyamatos lelki támogatás miatt, hanem azért is, mert kezdetben elég sok kaput meg tudott nyitni neki a pályafutásában. Even I still miss seeing John at races, so I totally understand why, after his death, Jenson just didn't have the heart for it.Please note: I am not responsible for any security weaknesses in WordPress, hosting provider or other technology I have no control over. Jenson’s father John was a huge influence on his life and the section of the book that describes John’s death is very heart felt.
