About this deal

I’d had my eye on Unspoken for a little while, having had my attention drawn to it by blogger and librarian 100 Scope Notes, and the New York Times picks of 2012. When you ride a motorbike you become part of a worldwide community of kindred spirits – those of us who will not be pacified by driving a car, but instead live for adventure, escape and the sheer thrill of the throttle. I chose this book because I like Henry's tv shows and had heard rumours about his addiction and wanted to hear more about his life etc.

This jaunty and upbeat picture book from celebrated author-illustrator Henry Cole is perfect for back-to-school and all year round. A heart-tugging story about an abandoned dog who is looking for a forever home -- and a boy who finds him! A farm child and a fugitive make an unspoken connection in this suspenseful, wordless Civil War episode.Henry Cole decided Unspoken would be wordless, after his written version was rejected, as he explains in this interview. Since then, Henry's life can be charted through the bikes and journeys he has been on - from a stifling public-school education, via many years battling addiction, to the big-sky iconic routes Henry has ridden for over twenty series as presenter of numerous TV shows. I did enjoy it and Henry comes across as someone I could have a a good chat with and the kind of bloke I used to hang out with. I know I'm not alone in wanting to have my kids around, not tucked away in their bedrooms, and that means the kid’s stuff is around too.

Get ready for season two of Clarkson's Farm with Kaleb Cooper's worldly wisdom on life's big issues, from the difference between straw and hay to the importance of having a hair perm. Henry Cole's passion for motorbikes began when, at the age of eight, he was first introduced to a 'man cave'. Cole delivers a genuinely funny moment, with Eddie thoroughly nonplussed and unexpectedly redirected. In his new book, which is out next Thursday (17th September), Henry introduces the idea that a shed is a place to sit, a place to fettle and a place to stash, a spiritual refuge and a state of mind. it was a good read by the man him self ,giving a insight to his early troubled life and the incredible people he met by just doing a job.

Portrayed, not only as an exhibitor, museum director and educationalist, but also as a galvanic force administering salutary shocks over broad areas of Victorian life. If the Biker in your life has lived a bit and rides through choice even if it's raining or a bit chilly he'd probably love this as a gift. Outside from film and television, Henry owns Gladstone Motorcycles which manufactures bespoke British custom motorcycles.

Beneath the crackled and faded painting of a horse, underneath the worn and dusty floorboards of the dining room, lives Celeste, a mo.We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. There are some colour photographs in the centre of the book but other illustrations, in this paperback edition, were without definition and much too dark.
