I loved these little details that added so much depth to the story, as it built up the world beautifully. She’d been told that the great rulers of Terrasen turned into those bright stars so their people would never be alone—and would always know the way home.The first time I read about them I have to say I wasn’t sure what I thought, but now knowing what is coming. Maybe you just pay more attention, maybe the details stick in your mind better… But the feelings invoked are stronger, and you appreciate the story more. It’s so realistic and portrays her struggles in such a way that you are stunned by the depth of what you have read. But for myself now, this book leaves me excited because I know that the next is my favourite in the series! It’s a necessary book, and it does improve the image of the world she had built, it widens it and deepens the characters personalities, I really do enjoy it.
