About this deal

I feel that it will be very easy to build a good quality box, with all the features needed, for very little money! Yes the RPM is increased but then so is the battery usage - but if you're indeed going at a faster RPM, the mileage should just even out? So as long as I get a controller box that can handle 48V (a lot of them say "36V/48V" on the label on the controller) and I run that through the 250W/36V motor. Brushless motor controller can provide steady speed and sensitive control of braking and direction changes. Instead of gluing the heatsink to the controller I might just screw it on in place of the original cover.

This controller box can give your e-bike controller a good protection, dust-proof and waterproof, a great accessory for your electric bicycles. My KT is in a Alpkit frame/top tube under slung bag and gets warm esp in summer and like AK mentioned suffers thermal cut out so to prevent this I have fitted a pair of 5v micro fans on an additional finned heat sink and run the fans off a separate 2p 1s battery I welded with a 1s bms.A hub motor to doesn't care to a degree doesn't care what it sees voltage wise at less the 60v, though it will depend on the extent of current supplied to it. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be responsible for obtaining such type approval, insurance, tax, registration and MOT.

Nearly all are compatible with any 9 pin hub motor as the 9 pin wire sequence from the hub motor is generic and most use the Julet 9 pin waterproof connector, the one example not compatible is the flawed Suntour hub on Carrera bikes. This controller box is made of qualified plastic and metal material, firm, solid and durable to use. A whole variety of legal kits complete with larger than typical batteries at Woosh ( http://wooshbikes. Furthermore, if some battery types get warm/hot (not good for any battery type as the answer above suggests), then possibly a small, cheap thermometer might be considered to be installed. The messy end (sorry bout bad photo quality), but you can see it is best to add the waterproof plugs soldered to the wires after they exit the controller.
