It was shockingly brutal seeing him drive the sword through the midsection of the mother of two, but worse things were to come. However, Deadpool also has a healing factor and had a cure for that in computers that monitor their vitals and then kill them as soon as they regenerate. For DKD, I expected something truly weird – some really out-there, Grant Morrison-esque stuff – but it was the least interesting book in the Killology when it should’ve been the most.The earlier volumes aren’t greatly relevant, and this can be read without any reference to them, as what’s necessary is explained at the start of the second chapter. Deadpool Kills Deadpool, a four-part mini-series, is the final act of the Deadpool Killogy that started with Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and Deadpool Killustrated, and as the title suggests, this time Deadpool has to get rid of.

However, the one voice left standing was the one that knew he was in a comic book and he realized no one in the Marvel Universe was free. Deadpool set out to kill every hero and villain in Marvel before finally setting his sights on the creators of Marvel Comics in our world. I'm not saying previous volumes should have handled a multiversal mass murder campaign with more lightheartedness and whimsy, but it's nice to finally see some of Deadpool's classic irreverence. Bunn's early Marvel work included contributions to Immortal Weapons and Deadpool Team-Up, followed by work on miniseries Fear Itself: The Deep, Fear Itself: The Fearless and Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. She blew up Deadpool's head, but his regeneration was faster than ever, and he responded by driving a sword through her midsection.It wasn’t apparent initially, and probably not intended then either, but when Cullen Bunn first had Deadpool destroy the Marvel universe, he’d begun a four volume trilogy.
