About this deal

It looks pretty good, with ALL SONGS but Someday I'll be Saturday Night, In and Out of Love and Never Say Goodbye from Cross Road included. And I might represent a good chunk of people who even think about Bon Jovi at any point in their technology-addled, self-absorbed days… a collection like this is nice enough, in and of itself, but is it essential?

I watched a documentary about the “band” a couple of years ago wherein JBJ essentially says this is a company, I am the chairman and this is all business.

Other differences include tracks from Keep the Faith album being present on disc 1 instead of disc 2, and "Blaze of Glory" being present on disc 2 instead of disc 1. I’m not after bands to take a load of drugs and sleep their way through the female population but I would like to *think* that there is some sort of band of brothers type vibe going on….

I think you can still make great albums in an environment like that, but I also think Jon has not made a great album in over a decade…KTF is one we can agree on there. In 1984 and 1985, Bon Jovi released their first two albums and their debut single " Runaway" managed to crack the Top 40. In the United States the album debuted and peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 the week of November 27, 2010 with 88,000 copies sold, exceeding the first week sales of the band's 1994 hits collection, Cross Road, which sold 84,000 units in its debut week, the next week it dropped to number eighteen; it remained on the chart for eighty five weeks. We use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our site, provide personalised content and advertising, analyse our traffic, and ensure you see more of what you love. Crossroads, after all, was 16 years old at that time, and Tokyo Road was only made available in Japan. It consists of singer Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald. By the way…in case you missed the discussion in the Gilby Clarke thread…I’ll be reviewing a Duran Duran side project soon, John Taylor’s Neurotic Outsiders. There was one thing Jon said, about Bon Jovi being a business, and there being dozens of employees that count on his leadership to bring home the bacon every year. The song flow is excellent, hitting you with hit after hit after hit, landmark ballads sprinkled in between. Australia's BigPond Music and various European digital editions add "Keep the Faith (NMS Live – 2010)".as the band's new "Greatest Hits" compilation (Mercury/Universal Island) makes a winning start on Billboard's European Albums chart. Twelve songs from the Greatest Hits album were also released as downloadable content for music video game Rock Band 3 on November 9, 2010. But I’ll bet that if you sat down and made a 2 CD-R collection of the Bon Jovi song YOU wanted to hear in the car (and not just with trying to collect the hits in mind) it’d be a very different collection of songs. You’ve hit the nail on the head there for me rally – had JBJ been putting out stellar albums since KTF then I probably would have been less bothered by the “business” stuff.

While the standard edition released in North America will have 28 tracks, the Australian and Japanese editions are set to have 30 and 31 tracks respectively. The pack features every song from the first disc of the North American album except "Born to Be My Baby", "Always", "What Do You Got?
