About this deal

Okay, okay, I have to admit that I didn't get all the cultural references either, which took away from my enjoyment. A book to brighten your day - a gift of hope, comfort, positivity, openness and love for any occasion - inspirational quotes from the TFL Underground duo. I have never seen one in real life, only get to London once or twice a year, but love seeing them on social media and now in this book.

In January 2008, Redpath was driving a train when a young girl jumped on the tracks at Pimlico station which left him with PTSD and anxiety: “For ages after I was afraid of the dark, and I’d have nightmares,” he has said. Fast-forward 3 years, they've grown a community of 750,000+ online fans and have a plethora of celebrity supporters. The collection covers topics such as Positively Positive, Love, Always Remembered, Mental Health, Real Life Heroes, . The fans seemed happy, the board seemed happy and it made us feel happy, so we thought ‘let’s do that again. We were tired of looking at a board that just said "keep right" and thought can't we do something a bit more fun?

With their beautiful, colourful collection of quotes, stories and drawings, you can add joy to your day wherever you are and however you're feeling. This is a perfect choice for teaching younger kids the importance and ease of prayer and it's role in our lives. Their speech bubbles give examples of what a prayer can be like, and the short sentences and simple vocabulary throughout this book make it appropriate for babies and toddlers. The Any Time, Any place, Any Prayer storybook for 3-6-year-olds builds on these themes and expands them.

I bought myself this book after listening to the ‘All On The Board’ guys, Ian and Jeremy, being interviewed on Fearne Cotton’s podcast, Happy Place. Join him on his busy day of hopping, jumping and picking berries in the woods before settling down in his cosy bed.

I loved the idea of that book, when I heard about it and did not hesitate when it was finally available. The Any Time, Any Place, Any Prayer board book is a simplified version of the children’s book by Laura Wifler. This is a lovely idea, inspiring quotes and comments on the notice boards at Tube stations relevant to the day’s events.

I took a picture of one of my favourites from page 168 because it summed up so well how I was feeling. uma manifestação do que o ser humano pode ser de melhor quando tem compaixão, solidariedade, tolerância, amor. This book simplifies the original book into clear, understandable language for the little ones, and does not disappoint. On the most lonesome dog’s dinner of a day, the uplifting words written with a marker pen on the London Underground information boards can make one pause for thought. It is sturdy and suitable for little hands, and even though it is small, it can work for a group read-aloud because the illustrations on each page are bright and vivid against a white background.

An accompanying Art and Activity book is also available to purchase and a 15-day family devotional on prayer.
