About this deal

Released in late 2016, the NERF N-Strike Elite Hyperfire is a full-auto flywheel blaster, with some very cool, sci-fi styling. A quick math exercise tells us: With 25 darts in the magazine and a RoF of 5 darts per second the fun is huge but quickly over after five seconds.

It advertises a firing range of up to ninety feet (twenty-seven meters), and a rate of fire of up to five darts per second. Challenging your friends to a battle with the Nerf N Strike Elite: Hyper-Fire Blaster proves a versatile choice. This fully motorised blaster unleashes up to 5 darts per second with fresh batteries, so kids can rain down a deluge of darts onto targets. Nerf N-Strike Elite blasters from Hasbro deliver the ultimate in blaster performance for Nerf battles. My son is 8 next month, so right at the bottom of the age range, and has absolutely no problem using this toy, and nor does my 6 year old.

Considering small parts included, please keep in mind that it is not suitable for kids under 36 months of age. As the fastest-firing Nerf dart blaster, this N-Strike Elite blaster rapidly sends the darts flying across the battlefield. I’m glad they ship it with a 25 short drum, as a blaster that can fire this fast needs all that and more…. Once it is fired up you cannot help but notice how much quieter it is than the older flywheel blasters – my Stryfe almost deafened me when I fired it up after using the Hyperfire!

The HyperFire’s muzzle velocity was pretty impressive, with an average just under 75 feet per second, which is a few FPS better than the N-STRIKE ELITE average. Etsy’s 100% renewable electricity commitment includes the electricity used by the data centres that host Etsy. It's the fastest motorized Nerf dart blaster, unleashing 5 darts per second to rain down a deluge of darts onto targets! The blaster is suitable for ages 8 and up and has a high firing rate, making it perfect for outdoor activities. The Nerf N-Strike Elite Hyperfire Blaster is a substantial weapon in any battle however it can be slow to load the 25 darts and as they fire out so quickly this could be an issue. This Blaster does take 4 x D Cell batteries, which aren't cheap, but we haven't yet had to replace them, despite some daily use and a couple of drawn out battles. The belt has tabs that grip the darts, pulls them from the drum and holds them in place until you are ready to fire. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
