About this deal

The reason for this is that I have pretty small hands, and I’ve always found gaming mice to be a bit to bulky for swift movement in the thick of battle. I have not tried the fk1 so cannot comment on it, however the original fk is a bit on the small side so if you have larger hands the fk1 would be a good choice.

I've yet to get a (proper) mousemat for use, but I'm sure it'll become even better on a good quality one. The MX518 also slides very nicely on almost any generic mouse pad – I’ve been using a ruddy old Nortel pad and the mouse feels very smooth. Well, today the issue occured also in Windows once, and I had to reboot the system - the replacement mouse did not “fix” the issue, as works with linux. The MX518 is the older varient of a G400, I don't own a G400 so I can't make a direct comparison of it. Although MX 518 does not use safe shape, and some people will dislike it because of it, it’s shape over time will imprint so much on you, that you will look for it in other mice.It really does take a bit of getting used to, and you also need to configure the best possible sensitivity for each game you play. Currently using the G402 very little difference to a G400 but hate the side buttons especially the kill switch, near the thumb. The sides are made of slightly textured plastic which helps provide a better grip, but the top is a glossy, slippery plastic that feels a bit cheap.

But in my opinion it’s worth every penny and if you’re serious about your gaming, and want to increase your Windows productivity you should give this mouse a try. Same process as the G703, get all the PCB components separated from the shell, just unscrew everything.Today, we have millions of users a month from around the world, and assess more than 1,000 products a year.

I should probably ask you what your use for the mouse is, but if that mx518 has been serving you well all this time, there's probably no reason to abandon Logitech. So long ago I cant even remember when it was, but its still working as good today as when I bought it probably close to 5 years ago. It's comfortable to use, although people with small hands may not be able to use it comfortably with any grip type. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Filament/wire cutters also help for some of the injection molding pins that are superfluous to the structure. On the left side of the mouse, above the contoured area where your thumb sits, [assuming you are right handed], are two small buttons.
