It was great to see the original cast in the movies again, but even that just wasn't enough to save it. The plot was kind of B-Movie weak (although the bad guy resembling Tim Cook from Apple was kind of entertaining), but the effects were more impressive than ever, however implausible and it was nice to see all the players in the same movie. Former park operations manager, Claire Dearing, and raptor trainer, Owen Grady, embark on a mission to rescue dinosaurs from Isla Nublar, now an active volcano.Sure, Chris Pratt’s tough guy but animal-sensitive Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s headstrong Claire were nice additions to the series, but they just can’t measure up to the iconic legacy characters of the first film. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history's most fearsome creatures in a new Era.
