I've tried many different boozy scents from all different houses, but to me, nothing compares to Jazz Club. despite being a palpable combination of notes, this fragrance sits close to the skin and ultimately doesn't last too long. Definitely a cool weather (autumn/fall) evening scent I’ll be reaching for when I am looking for warmth and a scent that will compliment me during intimate dinners, cocktail dates etc.

I am a newbie but I find myself attracted to male fragrances, especially with tobacco notes- I think the sweetness and booziness can lend itself to a sexy femininity without being dirty. It's midnight and the jazz band at the front of the house imbues the atmosphere with a sensual but electric tune, the people are lively, the women giggle and blush, the men chuckle and lessen the distance between their overly warm bodies, touches linger, the possibilities of how the night will end thrills many of the patrons; longing is unspoken but mutually understood.I would wear this and also use it as a house spray to make my house smell like an upscale jazz club. Im not going to delete the first impressions, because someone might have a similar experience and dismiss the fragrance all together. I could faintly smell the tobacco, but mainly the vanilla and rum which made me consider getting a bottle! Not huge on projection but honestly I wear perfume for myself not others and if they happen to smell it and enjoy the fragrance its just a bonus.I love wearing this when I'm dressed in my vintage style clothes (think 1940s sweater vest, blazer and trousers). The soft spices dance on your senses like the subtle background hum of a live jazz band, providing just the right amount of intrigue without overwhelming the senses. I have loved By The Fireplace for the longest time, but Jazz Club is so much more wearable and less polarizing -- although BTF is definitely more unique, smoky, and lasts forever (projection is better too). When I sprayed this for my mom she immediately picked up on the tobacco (quote: "smells like cigars").

I wanted to love it - the tobacco notes are beautiful, however it is cloyingly sweet to me after a while. What I smell: top notes - rum, cinnamon, and vanilla, base notes - lemon, licorice, and musk, no heart notes.Smoking and drinking places (and people) do not smell this tranquil or gentle, or at least not the ones I know of lol.
