You've probably already guessed by now, but the clear winner was the Cabeau Evolution Memory Foam Travel Pillow. From my experience, the filling is pretty loose and not firm but folding it over at least once will increase support. I am reviewing the classic navy color and I personally love both the color and the outer bamboo fabric, which gives the pillow a unique feel. Constricting – Speaking of wrapping it around your neck, some folks might feel kind of claustrophobic using this pillow in certain positions.

It makes a great deal of a difference compared to not using anything, that just might give you more energy when you wake up. I'm the type that dips my head forward when sleeping on a plane and need something that supports that. There are a couple different ways to wrap the most comfortable travel pillow around your head to make the squish just so and to your liking, with complete neck support to boot. As a hot sleeper, I often look for pillows covered in bamboo-based fabric because it’s great at wicking sweat, promoting airflow, and keeping allergens at bay.

I’ve also used it as a back pillow when I’m not trying to sleep but getting a little achy back there, and have also seen it used as a desk pillow, rolled up with hands through the openings.

The pillow rolls up to a decent size, too, and comes with a Velcro band you can wrap around it to make it even more compact.It can also be useful if you need a little break at work or have just been working yourself a little too hard and need a quick nap, the desk pillow adds that plumpiness and cushioning we tend to crave when resting our head on the table. For example, rather than wrapping it around my neck twice, I decided to pull one end of the pillow through the other loop for less constricting neck support.

Neck support, lumbar pillow, window pillow, desk pillow, eye mask, noise cancelling pillow – you’ve got them all. A little bemused in the beginning, after a bit of time I quickly got the hang of folding, twisting, turning and looping the infinite design in ways that really did add a lot of comfort. In the end, what I really wanted was something that gave me maximum neck support and this one gave me the support without the awkward positioning and discomfort.
