Botanicals: 14 including juniper, devil's claw, buchu, baobab, lion's tail, wormwood, apple, pine needles, lavender, sweet orange peel, ginger, pimento berries, elderflower. With the hand-crafted bottle, complete with cork stopper and an old fashioned map on the label, Elephant Dry Gin certainly captures the spirit of exploration. With each bottle of this herbal, fruity and spicy gin sold, Elephant Gin will donate 15% of their profits to elephant conservation charities which makes the gin taste even better. The label has a resemblance to a stamped postage stamp, from the double-sided printed label on the back shines through a map to the front.Urban Bar take our design rights and intellectual property very seriously, we do not create items for others to copy. The Gin Guide Review: Alongside the honourable donations to wildlife conservation in Africa, Elephant Gin is a deeply characterful, well-constructed and complex gin, with prominent classic gin characteristics accented gently, but noticeably, with African botanicals. If the gin had at least 57% ABV, then it surely survived the test and was proclaimed of navy strength.

Our innovative blend of 14 botanicals combines rare African ingredients with fresh, hand-cut apple apples from orchards surrounding our distillery. The result is a more powerful nose and taste - without losing the silky-smooth character that the Elephant London Dry Gin has become celebrated for. It contains double the quantity of botanicals used in the original Elephant Gin and shines a light on African buchu.Taste An intense burst of fresh aroma and natural sweetness, followed by a full-bodied botanical foundation and beautifully balanced juniper end. Writing letters was the only form of communication at the time, without which Elephant Gin may have never heard the tales of these explorers. Compared to other sloe gins, Elephant Sloe Gin has a lower sugar content paired with higher alcohol volume of 35%. The taste is complex but strikingly smooth, encompassing floral, fruity and spicy flavours, which can be enjoyed both straight or in a cocktail.

The Elephant gin’s nose shows a subtle juniper aroma, with an undertone of mountain pine and other herbaceous notes. If you like classic gin like Bombay, Tanquery - you won't be disappointed but probably not amazed either. To create a lightly sweet, delicate and floral gin and tonic, why not use a slice of apple as a garnish? Lion's Tail (not literally), Devil's Claw (not literally), Baobab, and African Wormwood are the African rarities in this gin. In fact, it's actually helping them survive, as 15% of Elephant Gin's profits go to two African elephant foundations (Big Life and Space for Elephants) to support rangers who protect against poachers and run education projects in local communities. Having been able to give over half a million euros to African elephant conservation projects over the last six years and making a difference to on the ground is something we are most proud of.
