Kai offers all the payoff with little build-up or viewing discipline, and in my opinion, greatly reduces the effect of many of the best moments the series has to offer. I’m looking forward to the next instalment of Dragon Ball, to see more of Goku’s antics against Commander Red’s minions now that they have a Dragon Radar of their own. A long running shonen action show has to be something pretty special to interest me, it has to mix it up a bit, offer something different, and above all entertain me.
