i will say i do remember the 2010 version having more vanilla but this one is still amazing, i do like how the berries are more present. I keep smiling all day whenever I catch a whiff of it, which makes me sometimes wonder why I keep bothering with hundreds other perfumes. I took it out after several months randomly one day and was genuinely surprised how much better it did smell. I can smell lactonic blackberry, but it’s somewhat overtaken by the rich vanilla, amber and musk, which makes it heavier in the best way. I thought it smelled too spicy, too much patchouli and I just couldn't wrap my head around it because I was used to the likes of Cucumber Melon, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and Japanese Cherry Blossom.

BBW "musks" are usually very sweet and feminine to me and i really wish the perfume held the same scent I love in the other products. The biggest difference being that Dark Kiss smells ever-so-slightly more mature with the incense and the musk. I also have extra lotion, and sometimes I skip the mist altogether and use just the lotion around my neck and shirt collar, because it's sufficient and very dense. I can smell vanilla and spices, but honestly it is nothing really special and I doubt I woul ever purchase this.
